686 Stilleto Pant Review
Got these pants for work and they have been getting lots of compliments. The black on black camo pattern is pretty steezy because part of it looks almost like silk inlay. However,No button above the front zipper but it seems to be staying up fine with a belt. Pockets space is minimal but the suspenders are fully functional. These are a light pant.
now i'll never know.
almost bought these, perfect fit, super cozy and steezy as heck. went with another pair simply b/c of my income at the time. regret the westbeach, wish i had my 686.
No more Burton
I swear on 686 after these pants. I am 5'1 and 113 lbs and the XS is perfect! I'm always getting compliments on the dark purple Storm color of these pants They are lightly insulated so on really cold days with thermal long johns I'm good. If it is warm though, there are 4 vent zippers, 2 inside your legs and 2 outside your thighs. The suspenders are removeable for those who don't want or use them. My only complaint is that there is only a zipper fly with no buttons so sometimes the zipper comes down a little, but never all the way. O and another cool little things on the pants, if you use Boa boots, the gaiter goes over the boot and there is a special Boa hole where you can access the dial without having to hike up the gaiters. Never again am I buying Burton, everything I've owned from them has fallen apart in a season. 686 all the way now.
I'm 5'10" 145 lbs and I bought the large in these pants hoping they would run longer than the small/medium...but they are too short. Regardless of the length, the best waist size for me in these pants is probably something on the smaller size of a medium so that was also an issue. The print is really fun and true to how it looks on the computer screen. And I love the suspenders...really wish they were long enough because they would've looked bangin' with the jacket I'm sporting right now. Overall, they felt like they'd be a comfortable pant, just not made for tall folk.
For the stylin' yet rippin' chick!
Love these pants! Super warm. As waterproof as a
snowboard pant can be. Complements on the fit from others and still allow plenty of maneuverability. Fit true to size. Strong fabric however would love to have a closure, clasp or button above the zipper to keep the zipper from opening up when you bend down to strap in your bindings.
These black pants look very shiny- does...
These black pants look very shiny- does anyone own a pair and know if this was just because of the camera used to take a picture or if the pants have an odd finish? I don't want shiny black snowboard pants! Thanks!
These pants are shiny... and also have a black-on-black camo type pattern on top of the shiny-ness. If you're looking for somehthing matte, don't buy this pant!
I love these pants. They're waterproof, they fit great, they're comfortable, and the suspenders are just plain cool. They have a loose fit, so if you're looking for a more feminine, fitted style, don't go with these. The only downside is that they're more purple than blue (they look blue in the pics). Oh, and they don't have a lot of pocket space.
