Description

Awesome for riding, not so great for hand-to-hand combat with evil super humans.

Shifting from perfecting your park skills in balmy weather to poaching powder in frigid temps shouldn't mean you have to change your kit. The 686 Gambit Jacket's waterproof breathable Inidry-10 membrane keeps you dry and regulated through whatever weather you're pitting yourself against. Unless you're going up against a band of angry mutants with super-human powers—then you're on your own, Kimosabe.
  • Breathe-Easy front venting allows air to pass through collar so you don't fog your goggles up when shielding your face from the storm
  • Infidry-10 waterproofing provides 10K waterproofing ideal for a wide array of conditions—from whiteouts to bluebird days
  • Smooth-Operator (won’t snag) mesh-backed underarm vents quickly dump heat without letting snow in
  • Adjustable powder skirt keeps wind and snow from getting in your jacket and can be easily stowed out of the way

Bought this jacket and love it. I'm 5'11", 200 lbs and a large fits perfectly. Wore it during some pretty chilly weather and didn't feel cold once. The abundance of pockets is awesome and so are the underarm vents.

Keeps you warm & dry, but still breathable. Tons of pockets for stashing away items. I got a Large & fits good(maybe a touch on the bigger side, but think Medium wouldn't cut it)...I'm 5'11'', 170lbs.

The fit of the jacket is good. I am 205lbs 5'9" with a beer gut and it has enough room for me to put a fleece jacket underneath. The length was good, too. The arms a little long but they have Velcro around the wrists so, it wasn't that big a of a deal. The color is true to the picture. Plenty of pockets, including one on the inside that is a zipper pocket with a clear window so you can see your smartphone and you can still use touchscreen through the window (without gloves obviously.) I won't be using it until January 2013 so, I will update after I hit the slopes.

Lots of pockets, cool style, warm and made well. I have only used it once but I love it so far. I got an XL and am 5' 11"...it is big and baggy.

Is there an elastic cinch cord around the bottom edge of the jacket below the powder skirt?

Yes, the Gambit does have an elastic waist cinch at the bottom hem.

Have used this on the hill for 4 days so far and it has been awesome. If anything its a little too warm for winter this year.

Fit is baggy but down to the upper thigh and the large fits me well (200lbs, 5ft 8). Plenty of pockets for all of the gear and the side pockets are nicely lined for my goggles.

Con:
No Pass window on the outside, but there is a see though pocket on the inside for some reason.

How loose is loose? I'm 5'8' and 190 with a 40' chest. I don't want to buy a medium and find out it's tight, ya know?
