Fantastic Piece of Snow Gear

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this for a 7 day skiing trip in Japan together with a whole lot of other winter pants. I end up wearing this pair throughout the entire trip. Great design, excellent for skiing, and was warm enough even after the most windy conditions. Pity that the length was a little long and there's a hook on the inner lining that tends to dig into my toes once in a while.

Probably a small, but I would double check your waist size with the size chart on the left before ordering.

Great Fit Cool Look, Endless fatures

Got these and was happy to see that 686 has moved back to a more standard sizing for their pants. In years past a small fit more like a medium, medium like a large etc.

get allot of questions about the "jeans" until people are close enough o realize they are snow pants, the print is that realistic.

With Fit and comfort spot on, all that's left to do is shred in em and for that they work remarkably well.

Sweet Pantalones!

I've been really happy with these pants so far. They match with pretty much every jacket I have and look great. I've gotten quite a few compliments on them and additionally how much better they looked than the Burton jeans.

I'm a big fan of the 686 fit however I had to go up to an XL in these. I'm 5 9' 190lbs and the larges were way way to tight. The XL's fit great however and are very comfortable.

As usual with 686 the venting is spot on and help keep you cool. They have sufficient insulation, so I would imagine come spring they will get worn quite a bit less. It won't take much to overheat and a silk layer was plently even on a cold extremely windy CO day.

I did notice however that snow seems to stick to the material much more than your typical pant, but I'm sure that lends to the jean look. Will that equate wetting out of the material later on? We shall see, but as for now great job 686!!

686 destructed denim

I got to these pants after my Analog gravel got ripped. I was using it only for about 20 days and it just gave up with no real abuse by me.
now.. I really like the jeans pattern on a snowboard pant so I decided I want to explore that world a little more.
I found out about the 686 denim print and decided to give it a shot.
First of all, when you touch it, it feels heavier and more solid than the Analog pant. the material feels strong an durable unlike the analog nylon shell feel. the print itself looks worse than the gravel but I rather have a solid thick worm pant that won't rip then a paper thin good looking one.

Awesome

I love the way these fit, look and perform. I was sitting in powder yesterday and never got wet. I tried the Burton denim pants but they didn't feel as good and the fit was off (the med was small and I was drowning in the large). I'm 5'10 175 and got the med in these.

these are 10x better than the ones made by Burton, they are waterproof, keep you very warm and they look and feel great.
