686 Mannual Block Insulated Jacket - Men's - 2011

The 686 Mannual Block Insulated Jacket was built for that powder day that is also frigid cold, snowing, or perhaps a powder-night. Insulated with a warm but not overwhelming 80g of synthetic insulation, the Mannual Block remains versatile for wide temperature ranges. Horizontal gradient stripes, large 686 logo, and a generous fit make the Block worthy to be worn off the hill as well.

  • The 686 Mannual Block Insulated Jacket is ideally used to keep you warm in temperatures 0? to 32? F (-18? to 0? C)
  • PJ Connect—pant-to jacket interface connects via snap tabs on the powder skirt to loops on compatible pants
  • Air-Flo strategically placed venting dumps the heat to avoid the incubator effect

Bottom Line: From the woods to the (suburban) 'hood.

I know 686 runs big. I'm 5'7" and I like mine short but i'm getting a small, so I would say a large for you.

Haven't worn it yet, but looks pretty awesome. Seems like it would be warm if you layered it. Lots of pockets. I'm 5'10, 155lbs and I got an M and its a nice and baggy fit but not too big

At 8k waterproofing, it might let some moisture through on a really wet day. Personally, I consider 20k to be totally waterproof and most everything below that is varying degrees of water resistance.

A medium would be a true fit, a large will be a standard "snowboarder baggy" fit.
