Pull down the storm's pants and give it a spanking.
See that bad weather over there? Sneak up on it, pull down its pants, and make it watch you shred that pillow line in the Plexus Stealth Thermagraph Insulated Men's Jacket from the pranksters at 686. The most bomber, high-tech jacket 686 offers, the Stealth is made with a 20K waterproof membrane and 160g InfiLoft insulation capable of standing up to the gnar, whether you're sessioning Mt. Baker road gaps or crushing spines in the Alaskan spring. Things tend to heat up when you're getting rowdy, too, so 686 ventilated the bejeezus out of the Stealth, with invisible underarm zips, a chest vent that access the inner storage pockets, and laser-cut collar perforations to fight off beardcicles.
The Stealth is built with 686's Expedition Fit, which is ergonomically designed while still hanging loose and offering freeride steeze. There are articulated elbows, an ergonomic collar, and underarm gussets to keep you flowing like water on technical terrain, and a stowable powder skirt that keeps the fluff out when you ragdoll down the steeps. A zip-off, super-adjustable hood is appreciated when the bluebird day suddenly turns to a hellacious storm, and a magnetic storm flap protects the water-resistant front zipper. Don't forget the Lycra wrist gaiters or the Recco reflector, either—686 didn't.

Awesome ski jacket
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Bought this thinking it could double as a ski jacket plus a jacket to walk my dog in winter. Way too bulky for an everyday winter jacket. Was very warm when I tried it on, literally got warm within seconds. It runs a little large but I feel a small would have been tight on my back.
Overall great coat
Thermo pockets are warm
Hand warmers in pockets if needed
Hood fits helmets
Magnet closures on mouth wind flap.
Air vents in best location
Charcoal w/ blue color looks great
Size runs a bit large
Need magnet for when wind flap is open/not wanted becus it flaps in ur face and obstructs vision.
No inside pocket for wallet
Perfect Shel for the Backcountry!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is my dedicated Jacket for The Sleds & Backcountry. The 20K makes it Bullet Proof against the wind when Hauling full Throttle on the Snow Machines!! I l;ove the Thermograph insulation for when it gets super cold, Yet it's pretty breathable when you're hiking & getting warm. It runs a lil on the bigger size which is perfect for layering on those cold sledding days. It's also very packable for travel. Lots of pockets for all your needs & the hoods Helmet gussets make it perfect for those stormy days when you need to run the hood over your helmet!
