The 686 Women's Reserved Avalon Insulated Jacket is cut a little longer, so you get more protection from chilly winter winds and weather. Although we really think 686 just wanted to show off more of the Avalon's eye-catching poly twist yarn fabric, which weaves together threads of different shades and thicknesses for an rich, subtle striped look.

I really wanted to buy this jacket, it is sick! So I tried it on at my local board shop, and just to let all you girls know, the arm length is pretty short for the size. I usually wear a small, and the sleeves came past my wrists when I stretched my arms out. If you have short arms, go for it! Cool jacket!
