Zip into the Sessions Men’s Smarty Command Jacket and be master of your domain. This jacket’s durable nylon shell, critically taped seams, and powder skirt keep you dry so you can shred through the storms—and best of all, it comes with a fuzzy zip-out liner. Leave the fleece liner in when it’s chilly at the pipe, or zip it out on warm spring days when all you need’s a shell to keep snow off your skin when you blow up. The fleece looks great on its own, so sport it at the après bar. A full array of pockets holds everything you could possibly want to take to the mountain—plus your girlfriend’s pet Chihuahua. The little guy’s never done a rodeo 720 before.

I love Smartys

686 for the win bro! I bought this jacket 3 seasons ago and I absolutely love it. It has lots of pockets and stash places, it's compatible with 686 snowboard pants meaning you can connect the powder skirt to your pants, it comes with the inside liner which keeps you really warm (although I never use the liner). It's a quality coat, definitely worth the money

I am 6'2'' about 175 pounds. I was thinking large until everybody said that their jackets are made big. Would a large fit me well? I hate jackets being too big but also hate when they're too small.

I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds. I'm thinking XL?

Responded on

Yup, that'll be good. 686 jackets run very large so an XL will do you fine.

Sick coat

Very nice coat and it comes with a free sweatshirt. The pocket flaps on the outside are fake and the pass holder is too skinny to fit my pass in but not really a big deal when you are rolling in this beast.

THIS COAT ROCKS

Man I got this coat last week and have been out to the mountain three times. It ROCKS. The first time was time out it was 7pm and 15 degrees out and all i had on under the coat was a light under-armor and a t-shirt and i was almost sweating. I went again today after a blizzard just hit and same deal, nice and toasty. I love this coat best, purchase I could have made. There's tons of pockets and the hidden pass pocket on the sleeve is awesome for keeping my season pass in. Just for info, im 59 170 and got a medium and it fits perfectly not huge and not tight fits just right.

Highly recommended and looks awesome!

Just got this coat (cyan fragment stripe print) in December and it's absolutely amazing! I wore it last weekend at Vail and Beaver Creek with no issues. Both places were windy and cold (~10-15F at the base) and while everyone in my party was complaining about it being too cold near the top, I was perfectly fine. I'm a skinny guy too, so that's amazing for me. The shell also kept me dry the whole day, and I'm not that great of a snowboarder so I'll admit I still take some rough falls, but never once did I have an issue of getting snow or water in the jacket!

Hey mike, yeah a medium will be too big for you. You should choose size small as 686 makes their products big.

Im 5' 9" about 170. Would a medium in this coat be to small to be comfortable? Should I go with a large instead?

Best Answer Responded on

686 jackets are sized very loose. Go medium. Medium will fit plenty baggy, but a Large will be REALLY big on you.

sick jacket!!!

This jacket is the jumpoff...Seriously, it's the first 686 product i've ever owned and i'm hooked. I got the black with white and red, and am pretty pleased with the look and the fit. It's warm, waterproof and easy on the eyes. It also included a zip in liner that it's a pretty stylish piece all on it's own.
