after reading all these reviews i gotta say i think i got jibbed! i have worn it a couple of times and the stitching has already started pulling apart.its not even like it's a hectic season effort.sorry guys not happy at all!
How's the fit on this puppy? I'm a small dude (5'6, 140) and I'm not a huge fan of the baggy look. If I get the small is it still going to swallow me? I know 686 usually runs bigger. Thanks!
just got this jacket in the mail. absolutely sick! TONS of pockets. the 3-1 is out of this world. You essentially have 6 jackets in 1! You can rock the inside liners separately or combined with the jacket in tons of ways. The detailing is sick. RECCO tech is sick. Wrist gaiters are blowing my mind! so stoked to use this jacket for everything! I got it in yellow and its super vibrant. get it!

Well as you can read from the reviews, its a sick jacket. The durablilty of 686 is pretty unmatched. They dont need to use gore or any crazy material that will cost you 1 week of of bringin tp to peeps for whisky jacks lol. And the tech on this jacket is at the highest levels. Liner + vest, ummm yes please. Keeps you suuuper toasty warm and never lets water in. Ive owned this jacket, but a few years ago model, and its still kickin. Barely any frays, absolutely NO rips or tears, and still looks like the day I picked it up. You really cant go wrong with 686, they just make quality product for a decent price. Hope this helps brotha
Just simply top of the line... You can't go wrong with anything 686 and their 3 in 1 tech is the best (and I am pretty sure they were one of the first companies with it...if not, their the best with it!)... Just spend the extra cash and have a jacket for every situation from coldest days to last day of the season...
This jacket is the BEE's KNEE's!! I was all BURTON until I woke up and found 686!! Every time I wear this jacket I find something new like the ID pocket on the cuff
Love this jacket. was at a resort in so cal a few days ago and it rained all day. i was dry all day and so warm. works for any situation. yellow is sick.
What's the sizing like on these jackets? I'm 5'7ish and aboput 38.5" round the chest. Should I get the small or medium. My current Sessions jacket is a medium, but I think another 686 I had was a small.
686 usually runs a little bigger than most. If you want it baggier I would go for a Medium, but if you want it a lil tighter than def a Small. If you get the small it wont be suuuper snug, but the medium will give you a lil more room to play with
Love this jacket. was at a resort in so cal a few days ago and it rained all day. i was dry all day and so warm. works for any situation. yellow is sick.
first time out with this jacket i had to take out layers. it is super warm (have never gotten cold in it) and def waterproof. i havent gotten wet the slightest bit no matter what the conditions are. def worth the price
took this jacket to the mountain this past weekend and i can already tell this will be my go-to jacket all year long. tons of pockets, zip out liners (fleece and a vest), pit zips that keep you cool, and it will no doubt keep me dry in any conditions. the color in the image for the cyan is exact, so no worries there.
