The waterproof breathable 686 Men's Smarty Complete 2.5-Ply Pants come with thermal bottoms and fleece liner pants, so your legs stay comfortable in all conditions this winter. Wear the complete set on the mountain when the weather is wild, and ditch a layer when the sun comes out. The track pants have you covered when you hop the fence to poach a soak in the hot tub. I'm a 32 waist so definitely size down I normally wear lrg but I had to return these pants for a medium. They are awesome!!! wore knee pads underneath and wiped out on icy park . Thought they jfor sure would have ripped by the size of my wipeout but to my surprise they were unscathed !!!!! love these great buy!

Down right best ever...period. 686 smarty line is one of the best lines out there and they get better every year. I've been wearing some type of 686 gear for about 8 years now from pants to jackets and they've all always been quality and the fact that they've moved away from removable hoods on their jackets, sick. But this is about the pants...buy them no need to ask questions. They fit proper so for all you park rats that like your super mad steeze of bagginess don't buy these pants, they fit too well for you. And if you are part of the SPC (skinny pants crew) you won't like them either. They have enough swagger and bagginess to be comfy, but not so much that they get in the way.

Hey Steven, a small will be pretty dang big on you. You might be able to wear them with a belt, though. If they're just too big, you can always exchange them or return them for a full refund.

One of the best pants on the market just be sure to size one down ie: if you normally wear a L get a med or you will be swimming in them . Other than that the Red pant is my favorite pant in my collection . Now if they only made it in Monster energy drink green!!!!!!!

These pants are much better than the Sessions I had 2 seasons ago. Even though they are a little pricey they are worth it if you live somewhere where it snows a lot. No matter what, if its dry snow, wet snow or raining on the hill they keep me dry completely and they are really warm. You should get these if you are looking at them
