686 Smarty Original Cargo 3-In-1 Pant - Men's - 2011

686 can tell that you’re a man who likes to have easy access to your keys, your phone, your tunes, your snacks, your sunglasses, your cash, and your smokables (without the added hassle of carrying a pack). That’s why it created the pocket-friendly and super-versatile 3-in-1 Smarty Original Cargo Pant. The Original Cargos allow you to store all of your precious cargo in multitude of strategically-placed, easy-access pockets so you can focus on the ride.

  • All 686 Smarty pants and jackets are designed with a 3-in-1 detachable liner system that allows you to wear the gear multiple ways
  • Wear the pant shell and removable liner together on snot-freezing days, relax in just the fleece liner at the lodge, and wear the shell alone for spring riding
  • 686 made the outer shell with 15K-rated waterproof fabric and fully taped seams to help shed outside precipitation and allow excess internal heat and moisture to escape
  • Inner thigh vents dump excess heat when you're hiking in the park
  • BOA-compatible snow gaiters come with boot hook and sock guards to keep them in place and keep the snow where it belongs.
  • Internal waistband adjusters allow you to optimize the fit

Bottom Line: Caliente pocket.

Love these pants

I bought a pair of these 3 seasons ago. I love these pants, they have an inner liner which keeps you really warm. Any 686 jacket is compatible with these pants. The material has held up great, I put my pants through hell the last 3 seasons. The only place where there has been significant wear is at the bottom of the pants by my heels where they rub on my highbacks. Overall these pants were a great buy...Plus they have tons of pockets for whatever you might want to stash while you're on the mountain.

Currently my favorite pants

These are well designed pants, comes with a fleece inside-liner that zips and unzips off with ease. Without the liner the pants are much lighter. Comes with plenty of useful pockets using velcro, zipper, or buttons. The only minor issue is that the button at the bottom of each pant leg unsnaps fairly easy, making the pants look a little "bell-bottom-ish," but otherwise, Excellent pants; keeps my arse warm and dry for sure.

Got these pants this past fall. Just got back from Silverthorne, CO after riding A-Basin, Copper and Beaver Creek. Negative degree temperatures the first two days and never felt cold. Good buy

My chick got these for me for xmas and the pants are dope!!! crazy pockets and every pocket has a purpose. I have not hit the hill with them yet but can tell they are going to be warm with the liner. supper cozy. i am 6-2 and 195 i wear a 33 waist and did try on the med but they were too short. my girl ordered the large from dogfunk and the fit was awesome! not to baggy not to tight. love them cant wait to shred the hill!!

Depending on your waist size, my first suggestion would be large for 34 inch waist or XL for 36 inch waist.
