686 Smarty Original Cargo Snowboard Pant - Women's - 2007
The Women's Smarty Original Cargo from 686 sets the standard for performance snowboarding pants. Their weather-beating 10K waterproofing and fully taped seams are just the tip of the iceberg. Multiple pockets keep your keys, wallet, phone, and (included) 686 Custom Tool safe, large vents add versatility, and cordura heel panels give these pants exceptional durability. Meanwhile, tricot lining at the seat and articulated knees combined with a low rise and body-loving fit make the Original Cargo Pants feel and look great. You also get a sweet pair of removable fleece Smarty Track Pants that can be worn as insulation or on their own to yoga or the après.
Bottom Line: With so much going for these 686 snowboarding pants, you can see why everyone else is trying to copy the Original Cargos.
I ordered these pants in Orchid. They have an awesome fit, I have the M (I'm 5"4' and about 130lbs). They are super warm with the insulate layer, which can be removed for warmer days. I always get cargo pants so I can carry all of my goodies on the hill, and these are perfect. I will probably order them in another color eventually.
Bought these in size medium in the orchid color. The color is a vivid pinky/purple and looks just like the photo. I am 5'5", 140, and the mediums fit great. The waist is perfect (no need to tighten the waist adjustments), and the length is long. These are a traditional fit, much like the Sig Fit in Burton gear. This is the second pair of these that I've owned, and they've made a lot of improvements over the original pair I purchased many years back. The inside liner is warm and fuzzy, but since it is zipped into the pant, it makes the pants feel a bit heavy. In the past, I've just removed the liner and worn my own base layer underneath. It is nice to have this option to transition from a super warm pant to a lighter shell (when the fleece track pants are removed). These pants have tons of pockets and features; however, I was disappointed that there is only one flap pocket on the butt. Wish there were two, but I'll make do.
If you need a pair of pants that will work for a variety of temperatures, these are for you. Highly recommended!

I love so much about these pants, the bottle opener hidden on the leg is my favorite. The lounge pants that zip inside so they don't sag are awesome....I used these pants in Canada when the windchill was -31 and all I could think was I wish I had a warmer jacket, legs were fine! I'm about a size 7 and got the mediums...they are a little big but the sides cinch in for a "customizable" fit so it's all good!
the picture it shows has two pairs of pants..the black ones and the tan ones with the bow. I really like the tan ones but im not sure if they come with the black ones or how to order them
The tan pants shown are the removable track pants that go inside the black pants. These are just fleece pants that line the snowboarding pants, and can't be worn for boarding alone.
i am 5'8" and 140. they are shorter than expected. 2 more inches would be perfect! I am returning my medium for a large. i got the orchid. i would say it is fusha (purple mixed with a lil black.) . The material is great! super warm. cozy. can't wait for the large.
These pants are warm since they come with a kool pair of lounge pants as insulation. I usually wear S (since I was gifted with a bit bigger lady lump) but I thought XS would work since that was the only size they had in stock. Im sad to say that I barely fit into them (without the lounge pants) and I wish they were a bit looser fit. The length was bang on with XS, just another great feature!
Great idea, but the sizing is a little off. The difference between a S and the XS is way off. The legs are too skinny on the XS and almost look disproportional. But they do keep you warm in the cold.
