- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
Pretty good looking combination and very warm. Unfortunately the seams are poorly sewn. For a $350 coat you can do better. I have worn this riding this season many times and don't get me wrong, it keeps the cold out but when stuff is falling out of my pockets because the seams have ripped out, it's a problem.
No removable liner.
This does not have a removable liner. It does have a detachable vest, so it can be worn 3 ways, but not 4. Only 3 jackets in the Smarty line have the removable liner. FWIW. Still sick though. Runs big in the vest. Medium had a lot of area up front in girth. I returned for small, and while I liked the fit of the shell jacket better in medium, the vest fits so much better in small. 5'-10", 170 lbs, athletic build. Small is more of a street fit for my build, and I'd like it if the jacket were bigger in the chest and shoulders. The ideal combo would be M shell, S Vest for my size. Odd the M vest is so huge. Disproportionately so compared to the jacket, but it's not really tailored to a guy my size I guess.
