Jake Blauvelt throws almost impossibly-stylish tricks in some of the most insane terrain around, so it should come as no surprise he demands a boot that provides uncompromising response, support, and cushioning. His signature Adidas Men's Blauvelt Snowboard Boot has a stiff flex in a high-tech package to help you conquer any feature or line that you come across.
The dual zone speed lacing system is quick and easy to use, and it allows you to independently adjust the upper and lower zones of the boot so you can dial in the perfect fit. Ultralon foam in the liner conforms to the shape of your foot for a custom fit, and it's lined with Merino wool to help your foot stay dry and warm. An internal heel harness keeps your heel securely locked down to reduce foot fatigue and ensure quick response.
Molded EVA around the midsole and in the footbed absorbs impact to save your feet from harsh landings and choppy runs. The footbed is also equipped with an odor-neutralizing material made from recycled coffee grounds to keep your boots from getting too funky. Continental rubber in the outsole is temperature-resistant to help you maintain traction in the coldest environments.

I'm in love
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The lacing system might take some time to get used to, but once you dial these guys in its smooth sailing. They might feel a bit snug when you first get them because of the foam liner. I recommend walking in them around the house for a bit to break them in a little. I used these for about 6-7 hours the last time I was out, and my feet have never been so comfortable. It says its stiff, but they are not that bad and give me enough support for my bad ankles. They are not overly bulky and they look bada*s . If your feet start to hurt or go numb then you probably have the inner liner too tight. I had this problem on my first run, but once you find the sweet spot you can wear them all day. I will post updates as the season progresses, but so far my initial impression are stellar. I recommend 100%.
