Not bad for the price

I found these on Whiskey Militia for a pretty great deal and decided to snag them.
They sound pretty adequate, if not a little hollow. The bass still is deep, but depending on the song, can be a little fuzzy.
They're really light, and the built-in mic works great for talking on the phone.

My only gripes are that after a while, they start pressing around my ears and that gets a little annoying. I wish the parts that went over your ear swiveled to fit more comfortably. The chord is also really thin and unfortunately- irreplaceable, so treat your cords well!
Just to put it in perspective- As a gearhead at backcountry, we sit with headphones on for about 8 hours a day... at about hour 5, my head starts hurting from the headphones

All in all, these are decent headphones. For the price it will be hard to beat in sound quality, but I just wish they were built a little bit better.
4/5 stars for the Whiskey Militia price

I use these often

I am a drummer and producer who uses these heavily! Love the sound and bass frequency response. Clear and loud, just how I like it. I also use them on calls. Very versatile.

Pretty good

I like these headphones. For the price, the sound quality is pretty good and the headphones are fairly comfortable, in my opinion. I like them more than my skullcandy hesh headphones, better sound quality and fit, but they also cost a little more so that makes sense. The downfall of these headphones, as with many other pairs of headphones before them, is that the cord gave out above the plug and the sound began to cut in and out after about two weeks. I ended up returning them, and in proper backcountry.com fashion, they were extremely quick to put everything right again. My new pair of chopper2's have lasted much longer :) All in all, These headphones are good for the price, but If you can find a deal, definitely jump on it!

Just bought these and am thoroughly impressed. The Noise cancelling is very decent and the sound quality is excellent. I would definitely buy these over skull candy's of a similar price.

Sick deal from Whiskey

Found these on Whiskey for a great price and had to jump on them.
For the price, they're great headphones! They're sort of big on your head, so I certainly wouldn't try skiing/snowboarding in these, however if I need to study at the library the night before an exam, these are the go-to headphones.

- good range of adjustability
- cups your ears well
- fairly long cord
- looks awesome!
- comes with a 6.5mm adapter and splitter (mic/speakers) to use on your computer.

- slightly hollow sound (deep echoing bass with lower mids and highs, like you're listening to music in a tunnel)
- the cord looks really thin and delicate (and can't be replaced)
- bulky (they don't fold up or anything, thankfully they come with a nice pouch)

Sick deal from Whiskey

Good for price

The head band groans and squeaks when I put it over my head; this worries me. I wish there was more give in the movement. These headphones are clearly designed for easy play, not packing away into a bag or wear during athletic activity.

I also noticed that if I were to have the volume up past half, then my neighbors can hear it. I hate to annoy anyone within ear shot, so I won’t be using these headphones while using public transportation. At least they were less than $30… that price alone (okay, and the rad style) these headphones are great.

Aerial7 Chopper Headphones

These headphones are awesome, I picked them up on Whiskey Militia for about $27.00 dollars and they have been the best headphones I have ever had. The bass is awesome and highs and lows mix well. I put them on at work and pretty much I am in my own world. A great buy for the money.... Fully recommend for anybody who loves music and hates the outside world noise.....Thanks Whiskey

Great Sound Quality, Mediocre Fit (for me at least)

I have over 20 pairs of over the ear Headphones, As far as sound quality is concerned these would be most comparable to the sound of skullcandy aviators, And at about half the cost I would say these sound great for their price point. Warm bass without being too much. On to Fit Over the ear cups have a great feel on the head but the headband is where these need a little improvement. you get lateral adjustment via the rails on the earcups but nothing on the headband. So if you have a small head and the headphones are on the smallest sizing you will be fine but as you move them from this smallest setting the earcups angle out at the top. So the great feel and soundstage of the closed earcup is compromised by not being snug at the top. Looks are great, Sound better than expected at this price point, Fit Good for smaller-medium Domes, Not so great for those with Grande Cabezas

Great buy from Whiskey

Grabbed the Mojaves, great headphones. Microphone works great for Skype, etc. Inline Volume would be nice, but more important for earbuds IMO.

Haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, but still five stars.

For the price it blows any skullcandy's I've ever had out of the water. The sound quality is quite nice for especially for the price. They're lightweight and comfortable but yet they don't feel or look cheap at all. My speaker blew out after having them for awhile. But otherwise these are a must buy.

Sweet cans

Been rockin these since I got 'em! They work great! Excellent sound quality and big enough to cover my big ears. I've used them with my phone a couple times and the mic works great for talking and allows for you to click between calls and music with the button on the mic. Great buy from whisk.

Sick sound

It feels like the sound is coming from inside my brain. I love these. Plenty o' base and stays true without sacrificing mid and treb. I'm listening to these right now, and I just want to get out of my chair and dance.

Responded on

I'm totally O'ing out on these things. I'm listening to my favorite song, and it's like I've never heard it before.

Not good

Pros: sound quality is great bass is good i loved these headphones.
It has a button on the cord which is handy for pause/play back a song forward a song.

Cons: when i very first got them they would constantly keep pausing when i would lean or have a little pressure on my ipod or the end of the cord.
The button on the cord eventually just stopped working.
Then the left phone eventually stopped playing so i can only listen out of the right phone.
