Onsie power!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wasn't sure how this would fit since I'm 5'4 but have wide hips (41in). I decided to go for the large just in case. It fits my butt perfectly. It's a little long but I can work with it. I can't wait to take it out in the snow!

Shredding pow in the onesie

Shredding pow in the onesie

Really loved the onesie yesterday in 7+ new inches at Winter Park, CO. I rolled around in pow and stayed dry the whole time.

However, I am a pretty warm person and don't get cold easily on the mountain usually - and I was freezing in this thing. I have very warm Volcom baselayers (http://www.dogfunk.com/volcom-nile-pant-womens) and had a second Dakine layer up top in addition to a warm neckpiece (http://www.daylightsnow.com/product-category/bang-r-angs/) and WAS FREEZING ALL DAY. It was like a high of 30 - very warm by Colorado standards, and the sun popped out mid-morning, so there was no reason to be so cold.

Also, I'm 5'8 140lbs and the M is a little short.

Whatever, at least I look fly. ;)

So Fetch

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Pretty radical, all-in-one snowboarding suit to the extreme. Love it when paired with a ninja suit! Lots of pockets and the fit is perfect. I am 5'8 and 135 lbs and I got the large, it fits like a glove.

I just bought a L based on the size chart....

I just bought a L based on the size chart. But when I tried it on the crotch is about an 1" lower than it should be which means I don't have full range of motion in my legs. Does that mean I should try a M? Or is it just a bad fit for me?

Best Answer Responded on

I would go ahead and try the medium first. You might find that with the proper proportions, the suit works for you. That being said--the biggest challenge with the onesies is that they really are "one size fits all", so there is some chance that even the medium won't butter your toast.

That being said, few things are as cool as onesie suits. I'd definitely try to make it work if I were you.

Hi! In the size chart I'm between M/L ?...

Hi! In the size chart I'm between M/L ? My weigh is 60 kg. , height 1,64 cm., waist 80. What size to buy? Thank you, Dimana.

Best Answer Responded on

Hey Dimana. I'm 168cm and 64kg and just bought a M. It's a perfect for me, as I like my gear pretty tailored. I probably could have got away with a large, if I wanted it to be a loose fit. Hope this helps! Helen :)

Hiya, I'm 5'1", 115lbs. Short in the legs :( Do you guys reckon XS or S?
I'm an XS in most other brands... Advise away, please!

Responded on

This brand runs true to size. If you normally are an XS I would buy that. I personally like my outerwear a bit baggy & would rock a small.

Responded on

I'm 5'4 112 pounds and I got a small. The legs are a bit long for me so I would recommend you getting an x small. The xsmall fit me but the legs were shorter than I wanted. I think it would be perfect on you.

hi. i am dying to get this but the largest i can find is Large. I am right between the Large and XL on the sizing chart so i am torn. What size do you normally wear in pants as that is the section on the suit i am most worried about? Thank you, Candice

Responded on

Hey Candice! Personally i would go for the XL. I went for the L based on the sizing chart (i'm 5'10" + 140 lbs) - i love it and i want it to work so bad, but it's just a little restrictive when it comes to bending over to wratchet in :( it comes a little short on the leg too when i'm riding. I think i might have to sell it on. It's a shame they didn't have the XL as an option when i was ordering it. So sad! I really do love it!

Responded on

Kate! If you do decide to sell I'd definitely be interested, I can't find a Large anywhere!

Airblaster Freedom Suit Women's

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Are you considering scoring this onesie? You better pull the trigger now because like last year this suit is going to sell out quick! Overall after trying this on it feels like a giant bear hug after a -20 degree kiss from a frozen mother nature snowstorm. It's just a shell but keeps you warm with a light layer underneath. This runs fitted so I decided to go a size up because I like my style loose not constrained. There are pit zips and leg zips for adequate ventilation. There is also three leg pockets on the front and two on the butt with an additional pass pocket on the front arm and two pockets for keeping your hands warm around your tummy when apres-shredding .

If you're considering buying another brands one piece suit then go for it. You'll be pissed off and crying in your boyfriends/ former boyfriends gloves that you're cold and need a hot coco. But whatever maybe you should have listened to that review to buy the Airblaster one piece instead.

Repeat after me:
buy moar airblaster, layer with an airblaster ninja suit, then shred for hours. stay warm and happy ladies.
