When i got this thing i was stoked to put it on cause it looked so sweet. when i put it on it felt like i had put on a shell of warmth. I felt like i could fall asleep inside of it. the fit is longer than i expected but its okay cause it will keep my bottom dry and snow out. Overall my favorite jacket i have ever owned!
this is a really great jacket. great look and its simple. it will defiantly be warm enough. i really like the cuffs on the sleeves that i can put my thumb threw. the only reason i didnt give it five stars is just because i wish it had pitzips. other than that its great and i cant wait to wear it this season!
Have this jacket. Love it. Just the right amount of insulation. Fit is perfect-long and slim. This is in Airblaster's Freedom Series, so it doesn't have all the features of their higher end jacket, but it's not expensive either. What I like most is the outer fabric, which is soft and moves well and sheds water very well compared to any other 10000mm waterproof-rated jacket I've had. The rib knit cuffs are awesome and not meant to be worn under your gloves but over them-Airblaster does make other jackets with under-style hand panties... But I've got a NINJA SUIT, which keeps my hands and wrists sealed up. Anyway, love this jacket and recommend it. Fit is slightly large/long compared to other companies fits. Great Jacket, fair price, from a real snowboard company owned by snowboarders.
The rib knit hand gaiters are nice, but too thick to easily fit into mittens/gloves. A simple nylon would have been fine.
The photo on BC.com doesn't show the "fake" silver buttons along the zipper flap. I'd prefer it without the buttons, as they serve no function and would look better without. For the price it should still come with some venting. Zippers don't cost that much.
Oh, and it fits like a big black garbage bag.
I like the Airblaster message, but this jacket just doesn't measure up.
I just tried on the airblaster grumpy...
I just tried on the airblaster grumpy jacket in XL at the local shop and im 5'9 140 and it was to G for me ahhaha my question is is that are the grumpy and freedom toaster the same fit? and should i get the large, cuz i have to airblaster sissy pant and i dont want it to baggy but a little bag to it. im worried the medium will be to small
They're the same fit, but the Grumpy is longer in the body. I imagine the large will be baggy, but not too huge on you.
You can always order the medium and the large and see which fits best, then send back the unwanted jacket for a full refund.
What is the length of the zipper on jacket...
What is the length of the zipper on jacket size S? And M?
