The Altamont Men’s Reynolds Alameda Signature Denim Pant is tight—both in the fit and the urban look. This Andrew Reynolds model pant boasts his name (embroidered on the back waistband) and a snug, 15-inch leg opening. The skate style and slim fit lets the older ladies see what you’re offering—so head out and on the after-dark cougar-hunts with confidence.
is the almeda fit the fit most of the altamont dudes wear(Justin Figueroa, Andrew Reynolds, Brian Hansen, etc. wear?). I want the skinnyier? slimmer look without looking like i shop in the womens department. is this fit right?
I don't think the alameda are that skinny a fit.. .they are more "slim" fit in my opinion... and long.. a lot of material left on bottom.. i have 2 pairs of them which are going to go on ebay asap. The old school emerica skelter jeans are the slimmest jeans ive owned and also the most "stretch" feel which is super comfy when skating... though I've yet to find another pair of pants like those since i ripped mine in the fall. Stay away from Levi 511, alamedas, (unless pico alameda, which is what they all wear), krew cm denim, etc
I would give the non-signature Alameda a 4 star, but the Reynold signature deserves a 3 star. These pants are kind of stiff and I wouldn't say that they are really stretchy or anything like that. The wash on these are pretty nice, but they fade significantly (especially the worn black and brown) after a few washes. These would probably get a 4-5 star rating from me if they had a button fly and were less stiff. Overall, I would say that these pants are pretty dope.

I own a few pairs of the Alameda (non-signature version) and they all have a similar fit. Slim in the thighs and legs--reminds me of the awesome fit that the kr3w kslims had back in the day before they went gangsta; however, the Reynold's Signature Alameda pants are kind of baggy. I have a pair in worn black. The thigh and legs are not really slim at all and the leg opening feels bigger than the non-sig Alameda pants even though they are suppose to measure the same. Everything about these pants besides for the wash sucks. I feel like I am wearing a pair of original levis or as if I am rocking a pair of Alamont Whilsers...I was looking online and I guess the reason why the sig-version are like $15-20 is because they are from kurabo denim (some denim factory in japan)...I don't know if this is the reason why they are so baggy, but man these suck. I know certain washes are suppose to fit better than others, but cmon these are not slim at all. I wished they made these the same way as the non-sig version, but they aren't so if you are buying these based on the non-sig version, you should know these are significantly bigger. And even though Altamont doesn't say that the Alameda pants are low rise...I can assure you that they are. You can pretty much rock 1 size down (i.e., 29 instead of 30) and still have plenty of waist room. The wash on these are sick tho...it's a shame that Altamont only makes cool washes in the sig version.
To John--in my opinion these pants are skinnnnnnnny. Either your legs are as thick as my arms or you must wear some seriously tight pants if you think these are baggy. To all those reading John's review, please check our photos. The model is wearing size 32, so you can form your own opinion based on that.
One more thing. KR3W has revamped every single fit they make, and the K Slim is back to how it once was. Also John, you should check out the K Skinny to satisfy your tight pants craving.
The leg opening on this is going to be 15'' if it does by chance happen to be narrower, being a size 28, it will prob only vary by a n inch at the most.
