perfect pair of jeans, i use to wear levis 511s until one day i decided to try a pair of alamedas, im never going back, very similar fit to the 511s (i got the exact same size) but much better, the alamedas are stretchier and they have a slightly different cut, theyre tight all the way down until just between your knee and ankle, they taper out about a half inch at that point which makes them look much better in my opinion, but yea great buy totally worth the 50 bucks, and dogfunk got them shipped out and at my front door less than 72 hours after ordering them

Alameda Signature vs Premium

By:
October 3, 2012

Altamont makes the best pants hands down. From my experience with any altamont pants you should wear the shit out of them, and refrain from washing them, if not washing your clothes sounds gross to you then maybe you should consider another brand of pants.

Signatures run and stay a little tighter than the alameda premiums, I've also found the premiums to run a bit longer.

softy soft

These pants have the same idea as super pricey raw denim; do not wash for a long time. Which is pretty cool to see what happens to the characteristics of the fabric. With that being said, stay away from campfires. The fabric is soft and not waxy (like raw denim) and is decently stretchy (bike, etc). Leg opening is larger than expected, but all in all they are durable and thats why I'm keepin em.
