Anon Hawkeye Goggle - 2009

With a snappy interchangeable strap and low-profile shape, the Anon Hawkeye Goggle is the roast beef and cheddar in a PB & J world. Anon gave this goggle wrap-around peripheral vision so you don’t miss a single branch, rock, or stump in the trees, and the anti-fog technology ensures that no matter how hard and hot you’re charging, your lenses are as clear as a bluebird day.

  • Air Mesh Ventilation System aids air flow when extra ventilation is needed
  • Plush Fit Face Foam provides a close fit to keep out the elements without sacrificing comfort
  • Shield Technology on the lens resists scratching without distorting vision
  • Auto-Adjust Strap Hinge incorporates proper swing tolerances for a closer helmet-to-goggle fit
  • Interchangeable Strap Tech lets you change straps between goggles to dial in the right look
  • 100% UVA/UVB protection keeps your peepers from frying

Loved the Goggles, not the strap :(

By:
October 9, 2012

i loved the goggles! it has a pretty wide perspective, really hard to fog, confortable lens, and a nice price for all the goodies - Didnt get all of the stars because the only issue that i had with the store is that the store was selling the Eyehawk-blusolex with a different strap (a cooler one) an i had shipped a simpler one, (Shows in the picture)

Alright 1st off kool name for these gogglesThese goggles are no lie when it come to vision, comfort, style and profile. you can see very well out of them id give them about 160-170 degree angle of view and about a 10-15% increase on angle of veiw when compared the anon realm goggles. its really a huge diffrence when there on your face. these dredrums specific hawkeyes are preety rad looks wise as they are a some what small profile id say about 5% maybe 7% smaller then the realm'sbut still maintaing a good amount of body on the goggles. The lens is fairly dark(duh its black) and i noticed as well anon has improved on the "anti fog". for example last year at abut -15 C at about an alt. of 4000 feet A.S.L the realms starting fogging with heavy breathing the hawkeyes did not a big plus :Dthe style of these gogg's i found fit my head a bit more natural then the realm's that's more of a personal preference but something i noticed. all in all i give these goggles a wicked 10 out of 10i havent found any cons in these goggles since ive got them also a plus

great vision

By:
January 7, 2012

you can buy a cheap set of goggles, but going higher end is a good choice. the large lense gives you great peripheral vision and they never fog up. you can blow on the inside of the goggle and it wont fog up. the padding isnt that thick but its got three layers so its comfortable. the only problem for me is that before a run i gotta make sure they are sitting right on my face. i set it wrong once and the snow blowers were making their way under my goggles. that might just be my face shape tho and with a little adjustment, it will work perfectly. its a little bit of a pain to change the lenses but with practice i could change them under 2 mins. the blue lagoon is good for partly cloudy days to night riding and i got a silver solex replacement for really sunny days. im glad i shelled out a little more for these goggles cause theyre worth it

Rockin Gogs- forgot I was wearing them

By:
December 28, 2009

These are awesome! They fit perfect with my Smith Variant. Also tried them with buddies Mace helment, and fit was great, even better than Smith's goggles.

I love the lens, got the blue solex. It's mirrored so no seeing in and lets enought light in for sunny to overcast conditions. The green solex looks even better, but has less light transmission.

They fit large, which is great for peripheral. After a few hours I forgot I was even wearing them. super comfy foam.

The Blue Lagoon lens is actually a yellow base lens with a blue mirrored finish to it, best suited for low-light (very overcast days, for example) conditions. So while there is a slight mirror to the lens, it's not super-dark, so your eyes won't be totally hidden.

Just got these and wore them over the thanksgiving weekend opening days and they are amazing. Huge field of vision and the dark smoke lens was killer for the sunny days. Kina wish they came with a mid tint lense since these will probably be too dark for the greybird days, but other than that i love these goggles. They are super comfy too and dont pinch my nose so i can still breath.

THIS GOGGLE ROCKS!!!

By: Dogfunk.com Vendor Rep
January 23, 2010

This goggle looks so damn good!

- Spherical lens Technology (An Injetced lens construction technology provides the greatest optical clarity and enhances horizontal, upward, and downward fields of vision while reducing optical distortion)
- Full perimeter channel venting
- interchangeable straps -- buy two pair and make a pro model goggle -- or trade with a homey!
- Low-profile and very lightweight frame (these goggles looks sick either with or without a helmet!
- triple layer face foam -- the most comfortable face foam you've ever had on your mug!

It looks good solo or with a helmet... Mine is kitted with the Mutiny!:

By:
February 6, 2011

These goggles are filthy. For one, they have sweet designs, and the triple-layer-face foam feels so nice and fits so well. Size is nice and big and you won't be missing anything on the mountain with these huge spherical lenses. I put these through blue-bird days, to overcast, and hiking up the park, they didn't disappoint. They never fogged, you won't regret getting a pair of the hawkeye's.

Not as good as people make it seem.

By:
July 10, 2012

After one season with these I have to admit these are nice but are nowhere near perfect. First, fogging issue is pretty bad. I was at the peak of Keystone last season and the snow was blowing around and these things were fogging up badly. So bad I had to take them off and rough it without them. Second, they fit ok but I think anyone considering them should really try them on to make sure they fit properly on your head. I'm probably going to get a different pair that I can rely on when I'm at the top of the mountain. These get a two star from me.

By:
December 4, 2010

I have worn Electric EG2's for a long time because their visibility is so good. The Hawkeye's have the same quality when it comes to visibility, but they are way sicker for sure. EG2's look like a face helment....the Hawkeye's just look sick (they aren't as ginormous). Lens quality and replacement availability is also a plus.

These goggles are awesome. I was honestly more excited about the vision I would gain from these but once I put them on I was in love with the style. When I pair them up with my Vigliante helmet it reminds me of a fighter pilot or something. These aren't as big as the EG2's but they are still bigger than my Oakley A-Frames. Fantastic goggle. If you have a bigger face you may want to try these on first because I have had some friends tell me they feel nose pressure with them. None on my end though. These are the Streetwise with Silver Solex lenses.

I love the fit and peripheral vision of the Hawkeyes, but they fog up worse than any other goggles I've ever owned. Fogging has never been a problem for me before, until I bought these. Not to mention the outermost layer of foam is coming unglued after only about 30 days of use. I'm going back to my old Figments until I can find something else, but this might be the last pair of Anons I buy.
