Find solace in the Anon Solace Goggle.
Strap on the Anon Solace Mirror Lens Goggle and drop in with the same clarity of vision as a pro. Anon’s spherical lens maximizes your peripheral vision so you can spot the rogue tree limbs and rocks that threaten to wreck your magic. If the pros rely on the Solace’s anti-fog technology for year-round riding, we’re pretty sure you’ll be stoked on how clear these goggles stay. Plush face foam, a contoured nose, and the auto-adjust strap hinge ensure a comfortable fit. Anon’s interchangeable strap system lets you change straps with your friends and customize your style. Great frame, ? lens
I have the zebra frame with the smoked lens. Its frustrating how Anon's web site doesn't really explain all their lens. They cover some of them, but the majority of the ones offered on this goggle line have no information or its not clear which one you have. The frame is probably my favorite one I've tried though. Its pretty similar to the phenom, and A-frame in that it fits smaller faces. The nose foam seems pretty low profile and doesn't sit too close to my eyes like some of the other smaller framed goggles do.
I have the honeyberry with a mirror lens. Love the lens, never fogs or frosts, good definition on a flat light day. The frames are comfy, but too round and too small for my liking. But that's just me.
my fave pair of anons thus far
love love love these goggles. wore them out west in late feb/early march they worked awesome with all the sun and they looked pretty good too :)
Awesome, but small range of view
I got these goggles in red/black...the mirror was cool, they looked awesome, but i didn't get a chance to see how they performed on the mountain.
However, I ended up returning them because the frame of viewing was a lot more restricted than my old goggles, which cost about half as much as these. I would like to emphasize these goggles are mainly for those with smaller faces.
is this strictly a chick's goggle?
is this strictly a chick's goggle?
nope, these might be a womens frame but theres no such thing as "strictly a chicks goggle"...if you like the cleaner shape and the round lines instead of the agressiveness and anglular look of some male frames then go ahead, we dont always want to look like a robot or a power ranger...noone will know these are womens frames unless you tell em :-)
Only my 2nd pair of nice goggles so not much to compare to. But the look is sweet, the fit is great. these are best for mid to sunny days, not great for overcast or heavy snow. When wearing mask in super-cold, the goggles tended to fog up a little. Without mask, no fogging at all.
Is there a photochromatic lens available...
Is there a photochromatic lens available forany of the Anon models?
no way...try oakley, they got those but they are hard to come by
Do they work in low light/poor visibility?...
Do they work in low light/poor visibility? I need a goggle that can carry me through snow days... I want to see what's hiding in that powder!
Check the sizing chart for a list of the intended use of each lens.(angus)the pink rose mirror (don't remember the exact name, but it's on the pinkle colorway) is good in almost all conditions i've used it in, from night riding, to overcast, to sunny. try 'em out. (nima)
Goggle sag is for losers.
Fits almost perfectly with my Giro G9.
Great field of vision. Haven't fogged up on me yet.
Lenses are super easy to change unlike my Oakley A-frames which I also love...
So Fresh and So Clean
I just got the Solace frame in the Honeyberry Print Mirror and it kills it! I'm super stoked, these fit great and Anon definitely nailed it with their new frame!! All around the Solace will be replacing quite a few of my frames from last year!
