Arbor Pin Bamboo Longboard - 2008

Carve down through campus on the Arbor Pin Longboard. This concave longboard owns the asphalt, but doesn’t get agro when motorists start acting like chicken-heads. This lengthy Arbor deck cruises with impunity. A recycled glass re-grip holds you stable and shows off the Pin’s naked wood grain.

Bottom Line: Arbor’s insistence on sustainable construction and dedication to shaping killer decks makes them one of our favorite rides.

I've found the opposite. Perhaps only for this board, but I digress. This board is more flexy than my friend's bamboo deck that's a sector 9. In fact, his seemed a bit dead. This was my first and it rides great. :)

Hey, I got this board as my first and I love it! and at this price you won't regret it, perfect flex and all. I'm now buying this one for a buddy for his bday since he loved mine.

I'd say intermediate to have total control of the board. Arbor boards are typically stiffer than Sector 9's. I think it makes it harder to ride, but it really depends on what you're planning on riding. If you're wanting to do a lot of carving, this isn't a great board to begin with, but if you want a sturdy, stiff ride for fast straight-a-ways then you'll be fine beginning with it. One of my friends bought it as his first board and did just fine.

This board is epic. Very long, nice graphic, great flex. The wheels are a ruby red, which I couldn't see in the picture. Great for cruisin' around town.
