Couldn't decide on the color but I love how casual it is but still has somewhat girly of a fit. The flannel lining and powder skirt are ultra cute. I bought this because I can still layer underneath if needed, and its not complicated. The hex color is more subtle and darker than this picture shows, it matches the darker parts of the flannel. The red is correct in the photo. Decoy in real life is slightly darker too.
Love the jacket, hate the hood
I really enjoy the length of this jacket, it sits just right for the powder skirt to do it's job and look awesome. The only complaints I have are the hood size and the front zipper. The neck and hood of this jacket run a little small, so if you're layering up with another hoodie underneath it's uncomfortable to zip the front all the way up. The hood doesn't make it to the front of my face, and there's no way a helmet would fit underneath. The front zipper has this large tab so it's easier to zip and unzip. However, if you're hauling down the mountain or it's a gusty day the tap tends to fly up and hit you in the face (right around the nose area. Overall I really love this jacket, it's super warm and has a great boyish fit. this is just my 2 cents.
bought for the wifey
i bought this for my wife and she loves it. it's kept her warm and dry. we got the Red Dawn color, and it definitely stands out in the white mountains of niseko, japan. it's not too poofy, so it doesn't make a girl look like she's bulky.
This jacket is awesome. The fit is a bit baggier which I love. The peekaboo plaid contrast is so stylish. Lots of pockets for all your goodies too.

Get the layered flannel look without the chilly side effects in the B by Burton Aster Jacket. Flannel throughout takes the edge off the elements while a flannel droptail is attached to the removable waist gaiter, letting you choose between casual or classy. The Boyfriend Fit adds the length your other jackets lack, and with the lightweight shell design, you can adapt to any weather by layering up with warm layers or running with vents open and nothing but a t-shirt on underneath.
I love this jacket! It has so many awesome pockets and the coolest pass holder that's super easy to pull out! The length of this jacket is great as well, even the sleeves of the jacket are long enough to pull my hands up in. The look is super rad, I love the plaid peaking out! There's a double powderskirt so, I'm sure no snow will be coming in! I'm so stoked to have this jacket for the season!
Burly meets Girly
I am soo happy with this jacket. I love that I get two looks in one. The flannel tale is removable and more waterproof than words can say. I had a hard time picking a color so many great options. I wore this up at Hood all summer and got so many compliments. I could not be happier with this jacket.
