B by Burton Aviator Down Jacket - Women's - 2006

Below the waist or below the knee—with the B by Burton Women's Aviator Down Jacket, you decide how you fly. Rock this long coat for those extra-cold days around the city. The Aviator's 700-fill goose down will keep you toasty warm while its wind- and water-resistant fabric shrugs off the snowflakes. When you head to the mountain, zip off the bottom and convert this below-the-knee coat into a regular snowboarding jacket. A magnetic stormflap and critically taped seams give you extra protection, while a music pocket and retractable ear buds let you shred to your tunes. Its quilted pattern and unique design ensure you won't see every other shredder girl rocking this sweet setup. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: The B by Burton Aviator Down Jacket gives you stand-alone style and arctic-strength warmth.

B by Burton.... not quite living up to its name

I have this jacket in the white color. It is VERY thin and light, although it is pretty warm overall on a chilly winter day. The fabric itself is not of a great quality and the jacket details are not quite there for a B by Burton outerwear piece. The fit is true to size and the jacket if very comfortable despite the disappointing quality. Once the bottom piece is unzipped from the top part, the jacket sits right above your hips, so I'm assuming it is not the best at keeping snow out. The bottom line, save your money for another jacket. I'm usually a loyal Burton fan, but not this time. I bought a Special Blend jacket recently, and the quality was amazing.

nice coat

I was initially disappointed with how light weight and thin this coat seemed, but once I wore it out in the cold, I was pretty impressed. I get cold pretty easily, but with a couple layers I'm out and about comfortably in NYC's coldest, and getting lots of compliments on the coat while I'm at it.
Seems to fit true to size. Color is nice. One of the snaps broke quickly though.

love it

I get so many compliments on this jacket every time I wear it. When you zip off the bottom it looks really great with jeans and if you keep it full length it's super warm for those frigid mornings.
