B by Burton Beecher Stow Suit - Women's - 2007

The B by Burton Beecher Stow Suit abolishes your preconceived notions of style and comfort on the shredding hill. Full waterproof breathable Storm-lite fabric fends off the elements while you fend off the envious hordes. Pull the Beecher Stow Suit's fully adjustable hood up and keep those headphones from becoming airborne when you head into the park. Mesh-lined Underarm zips and inner thigh vents set your body heat free on those swampy days, while the faux-leather accent up your general radness by several points. Tote your tunes in the audio pocket and pull the faux-leather belt tight before you head for the deeps. The Beecher Stow Suit's magnetic storm flap employs the magic of science to keep you warm and dry.

Bottom Line: B by Burton's Beecher Stow Suit—weather protection and style from the underground to the high ground.

Great One Piece

By:

this suit is so great I bought 2 of them. I actually bought the white one which I love, but I soon realized that if I'm wearing it on a powder day and we're riding trees - no one can see me! potentially hazardous. I ordered a second one in the Infared color which is a very orange color and looks great. I bought the b by Burton one piece suit last year as well and loved it. This year's model looks more trim and definitely has some improvements - very waterproof, better fitting hood. Definitely recommend this item.

Hot looking, too short.

By:
January 28, 2008

I got this suit after seeing it on the mountain, it's sick looking. I love it and get tons of compliments. The pro and con at the same time is, I'm 5'11" with long legs and arms. This suit is amazingly, long enough for me! The con is, because I'm so tall, I actually can't use the hood. When I put the hood on over my helmet, it's too short, and I just simply can't use it.
I love all the vents, pitzips, inner thigh, and back vents. It has tons of pockets for stashing stuff. I don't like the zipper on the cargo pockets, they are hard to zip up around the curves of the pocket. I have to use two hands usually to get them zipped, one to hold the pants down on the one side, the other to get the zipper up and around the curves of the pocket.
This suit is waterproof and warm. Great on powder days, not so good for touring.

Overall, a pretty decent one piece.

minor flaw

By:
January 14, 2008

I absolutely love the style and function of this suit. The fit is ok; I am somewhere between a small and medium, but I think this comes with the territory when you are dealing with a onesie. One minor flaw: the fabric will have some distressing by nature which is cool, but with the black color I ended up with two major white spots on my rear (I think rear is the best word to use on the site, but you all know where I'm referring to). Going to the bathroom is not as bad as you think once you've got the routine figured out.

I'm going to try the olive green thanks to our friends at Dogfunk and their fabulous guarantee to stand behind their gear... let's hope my next review is spotless!
