Are you going o be getting any Burton Beecher Stow suits in Medium in?
No sorry they will not be. This is a 2007 item that they do not make anymore and it permanently out of stock.
I returned this suit!
I am 5'6 125 pds...so I ordered the small but it could of fit a 6 ft tall man...the suit was rediculously huge for a small..so I decided to get the Roxy rizzo limited edition suit size small and it fits perfectly and is really warm..not to bog not to snug..I usually just order Burton but they did something wrong with this suit sizing..it did look like a really comfortable suit only if I was taller and weighed alot more...
Great One Piece
this suit is so great I bought 2 of them. I actually bought the white one which I love, but I soon realized that if I'm wearing it on a powder day and we're riding trees - no one can see me! potentially hazardous. I ordered a second one in the Infared color which is a very orange color and looks great. I bought the b by Burton one piece suit last year as well and loved it. This year's model looks more trim and definitely has some improvements - very waterproof, better fitting hood. Definitely recommend this item.
I love this suit. It's really really hip. I have received tons of compliments from people, even perfect strangers! It's not really black, more of a charcoal grey. I bought size L. I'm 5'8" and about 165 (solid muscle!) and it fits perfectly. I have not used it in really cold conditions - coldest was about -7 Celsius. I was fine with a pair of fleece pants underneath and a fleece top. For colder weather I'll probably add a pair of tights and a undershirt. Very cool.
I loved this suit. There's a new Burton store in Los Angeles and I went there and saw this suit. I'm 5'2" and weigh about 135 pounds. I'm usually a size 6 in clothing. The small was perfect. It looks great! No snow in my suit. No snow in my underwear! I wore it to Whistler. It's not the warmest thing around, but you just need to wear a lot of thin layers to keep warm. The hood fits over my helmet. The temp in Whistler at the time was around 7 degrees Fahrenheit. It was pretty cold. This suit did fine. I was cold, but I think I would've been cold with my down jacket. I think I'll try a down vest over the outside when I go to Jackson Hole. We'll see!
Great One Piece!
I bought this one piece because I was sick of dealing with my jacket and pants no blocking out snow. I have to say I'm really happy with the purchase. It is a lot less hassle when I'm on the mountain and I don't have to waste time readjusting every time I fall or get off the lift.
I bought the olive green color. I'm happy with it. The Black seemed a little boring (although very sharp) and the white would make me look like a marshmallow. I'm 5 foot 3 and 135lbs. I purchased a medium. It fits well, a little baggy but I would rather it be a bit loose (just the style I like).
Hot looking, too short.
I got this suit after seeing it on the mountain, it's sick looking. I love it and get tons of compliments. The pro and con at the same time is, I'm 5'11" with long legs and arms. This suit is amazingly, long enough for me! The con is, because I'm so tall, I actually can't use the hood. When I put the hood on over my helmet, it's too short, and I just simply can't use it.
I love all the vents, pitzips, inner thigh, and back vents. It has tons of pockets for stashing stuff. I don't like the zipper on the cargo pockets, they are hard to zip up around the curves of the pocket. I have to use two hands usually to get them zipped, one to hold the pants down on the one side, the other to get the zipper up and around the curves of the pocket.
This suit is waterproof and warm. Great on powder days, not so good for touring.
Overall, a pretty decent one piece.
I love this suit. I bought it in True Black which is really more of dark charcoal grey. In terms of fit, I'm 5'8" and about 160 lbs. (solid muscle) and it fits great. Not super baggy like the Oakley Bond suit that I bought which was waaaaaaaaaay too big. It's great in terms of keeping the snow out but it's really only a shell. I'm buying some fleece pants to layer underneath with a thin pair of tights for days when it's more than it's really cold (-5 C).
I have received A TON of compliments on it. Most importantly, people say it make me look thin! Love it!
No more snow in your girlfriend underpants!
No more snow in your girlfriend underpants means more fun off the pists. Couple lasts longer! :-)
Light and comfortable
I ordered this suit in the white color. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. I ordered the small. The fit was good, the fabric seemed waterproof and was a lot lighter than the other Burton one piece I tried on from this site. I can't say how well it "works" though because I never wore it outside. I ordered the white color. With my helmet and gloves on, I looked like I had just walked off the space shuttle. It would be cuter in another color. I sent it back and settled on the Roxy one piece.
I absolutely love the style and function of this suit. The fit is ok; I am somewhere between a small and medium, but I think this comes with the territory when you are dealing with a onesie. One minor flaw: the fabric will have some distressing by nature which is cool, but with the black color I ended up with two major white spots on my rear (I think rear is the best word to use on the site, but you all know where I'm referring to). Going to the bathroom is not as bad as you think once you've got the routine figured out.
I'm going to try the olive green thanks to our friends at Dogfunk and their fabulous guarantee to stand behind their gear... let's hope my next review is spotless!
I bought this to replace the Oakley Bond suit that I bought last spring, which I loved, but was waaaaaaaaaay too big. This Burton one piece is a much better fit. I'm 5'8" and 160lbs (of solid muscle!) and the L fits great. Medium would be too short. True Black is more of a dark charcoal color. Haven't worn it out yet but don't expect there to be any issues.
I got this one-piece suit in true black, and I love it. I'm one of those girls who is always cold, and this kept me warm with minimal layering underneath. It's easy to maneuver down the slopes in and fits a woman's body in all the right places. I got a lot of those "I didn't know a one piece could be hot until I saw this" type comments. The belt low on the hips is awesome, there are tons of pockets for anything you need, and it's totally waterproof. 2 warnings though, true black is more of a graphite/gray color than I thought it would be, and the beecher stowe suit runs REALLY big. I'm 5'7" and the small is almost too large, but the length is perfect. If you're between sizes definitely go for the smaller one.
