B by Burton Foley Jacket - Women's - 2010

Turn heads when you strut through the tram line in the Burton Women’s Foley Jacket. Part of the B by Burton collection this striking jacket has a one-of-a-kind waterproof fabric that fades and evolves the more you wear it.

  • Waterproof fabric and fully taped seams protect you from the wet if you crash into a plum of snow
  • A slightly longer Team Fit gives you plenty of mobility to rip through the tight trees
  • Breathable fabric and underarm vents dump excess heat on sunny days
  • Heathered jersey lining wicks moisture away from your skin so you’re not a sweaty mess when you ride
  • Powder skirt, wrist gaiters, and jacket-to-pants interface block out unwanted snow when you take a digger
  • A plethora of pockets hold your extra gear and vices

Bottom Line: Stop traffic on the hill with this gem.

I'm 5'4 and 150lbs. I need a jacket that is large enough to fit a hoodie under and wont bunch-up when I spin, but not super bro-bra baggy. What size should I order?

Now you're catching on Wooden. Medium for a boyish figure, large if you're curvy. Also should always ask whether they want a tight or looser fit, the later is more versatile with layering and gives better range of motion, but it's a personal preference.

Yeah, bad advice from Wooden R. I am 5' 8", size 35' chest, 133 LBS. narrow shoulders, wider hips, and a medium is snug. Add ski pants and it's tight at the bottom too. No way should he have told you a small would be baggy, then tried to sell you layers too. I'd put him on KP duty instead!!

I tried on a small in the store (because it was the only size they had) and it wouldn't zip up over my chest. So I guess I'll just get the large since you have an amazing return policy.
Also, thanks for trying to sell me your inventory haha, you should deffiently get a raise for that! Unfortunatly it was -30 last week and 3 layers barely cut it. I personally think Cilla makes the best first layers (you should totally recomend them in the future), followed with eaither a layer of burton thermal, or a burton dry ride hoodie (for thoes extra cold days). So you see I deffiently need something I can fit quite a bit under ;)
Thanks for your prompt reply! I appreciate the customer service!

The small will bi a bit on the baggy size but not crazy huge. I would recommend not wearing a hoodie under neath the jacket. If that is what you are wear for warmth it is not the best first layer piece. Try out this, http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-luxury-midweight-top-womens or the expedition weight. The first layer pieces offered by burton are super warm and do a way better job, if you are down with the hoodie then check out the camp hoodie, http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-player-hooded-shirt-long-sleeve-womens

Nice!

I bought this jacket a few weeks ago, for a trip to Big Sky, Montana and I love it. This wrist gaiters are very nice and the powder skirt is removable. The jacket has a very nice fit, not too baggy to make you look bit, and not to tight. I'm 5'5" and it's a perfect length that covers your butt. It's a shell so you will need to layer up to stay warm.

The Foley is a shell piece that is made to be worn over the top of your firstlayer. It will keep you dry and block the wind for sure, but on cold days I would wear a good firstlayer. If you do, you will be nice and toasty.

I'm 5'10 and 135lbs, I want to make sure that I get a jacket long enough for me, but not too baggy. What size should I go for?

Because of your height, you should wear a Large, but you don't weigh that much so it will be baggy.
