Banshee Bungee Urban Assault Bungee - 10 Foot Package - 2010

For shorter drop-ins and quick escapes, the Banshee Urban Assault Bungee helps you get on that rail in a fraction of the time it takes to build a ramp. At just six pounds and ten feet unstretched, it'll tuck into a pack or big jacket pocket easily. When stretched, it'll launch you at up to 20mph into whatever feature you find, then tear down before Johnny Law can show up.

  • Includes 10ft bungee, handle, and 30ft tie-off cord
  • Bungee stretches to over 70 feet for maximum pull
  • 3-ply braided design prevents snap-back
  • USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. KNOW YOUR LIMITS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY YOU INFLICT ON YOUR SORRY ASS.

Bottom Line: Get the banger and get the eff out.

if you can't find a sturdy tie down, do not use a truck hitch, because unless you hold on until there is all slack, you will send the handle straight through the back window just like i did...

By:

i had a tought time pulling it back because of the less traction we had on our feet, so we couldnt even get speed and when we got ithe bungee back it wouldnt even make it up the jump cause it barley gave us speed , I am very dissapointed with this product for the kinda a money i spend on this rope

10 ft will give you the speed to hit most things, you can always buy an extra rope to make it longer if you need it

Great for fun off the slopes!

I bought this for hitting some urban terrain and just having fun when I can't get to the mountain and I tell you, I do not regret it at all!

This thing gives you some good speed but if you are looking to hit some big gaps I'd recommend the 20 footer. For what I was looking for (handrails mostly) this is perfect.

Just make sure you are careful about letting it go! Not the smartest thing to do, but I have used people as an anchor for the bungee... cover your head!

Basically this is for urban riding. You need a buddy to pull it back to you and you hook it to something secure that will pull you in the direction of whatever your gonna hit. It could be the same feature your going to jib etc.

Pull the Rope snap it back hit the lip and snap your neck

By:
August 25, 2011

Haha super fun kinda weird and has to be set up right at least for me! But we had it tied to a tree next to the rail and that thing flung into my friend board and left a huge dent. I would never want to get hit with it! But this thing is definitive super boss

has anybody ever attatched this directly to the rail or fixture?

has anybody ever attatched this directly to the rail or fixture? does it snap back and get in your way if its attatched the the rail your hitting?

it doesnt snap back because of the nylon tie down, if you clipped the bungee down directly to your rail, it would get in the way, if you use a rope tied between the bungee and rail, and the handle to the side when you have good speed, youll be fine.

I'd only attach it to whatever you're hitting as a last option. It's doable but definitely not ideal.

Fun with limitations

Super fun and awesome alternative to lugging a huge drop in around. You need a crew to hit things though as it is really really hard and exhausting to pull it back by yourself and launch, pretty much impossible on a snowboard. Ideal - one person dropping, 2 people pulling it back, one person on the camera. They are heavier and clunkier than the description lets on, you'd need one hell of a pocket to fit this in there.

It is a really nice controlled pull, its not a strong jerk at the beginning, it gradually pulls and increases speed.
