Bataleon Goliath Snowboard - 2010

Mount up Bataleon's Goliath Snowboard and rip the mountain a new one. The rail-to-rail TBT shape and traditional camber team up for a buttery, stompable ride that still pops like whoa and grips once put on an edge. The Goliath sports a super-versatile flex pattern that slices apart parks and backcountry lines with the power of 145 angry ninjas.

  • Freestyle TBT (Triple Base Technology) shape uses subtle edge-to-edge rocker under the contact points that transitions to flat zones in the board's center
  • Traditional camber shape balances out TBT to deliver reliable ollie power and high-speed control
  • Biax/triax combo fiberglass wrap hooks up a versatile, forgiving flex
  • Extraduded 2000 base takes a beating and keeps you sliding fast, especially if you wax it once in a while

Bottom Line: Sling a rock into the forehead of obsolete, flat snowboard shapes.

I'm about 175cm and 80 kgs (5'9" and 175lbs) and am looking to do a lot of all mountain, but want to be able to spin and butter a bit. Will the 157 be good for me or will a 153 be a better option?

Personally I dont think a Bataleon is right for you very first board, There amazing boards! and i love them! personally my favorite ones, but they may be a little advanced for what you need, i would start with maybe a Ride Agenda, or Ride Kink, both are solid boards, depending on what you prefer to be snowboarding.
