Bern Watts EPS Audio Helmet w/Knit Liner - 2011

Pull the lightweight Bern Watts EPS Audio Helmet with Knit Liner on and keep your dome warm and protected while you rock out to your favorite top 40 hits (you love 'em, don't deny it). Pop out the removable liner for warm-weather riding; vents at the top of this helmet help hot air escape to keep you cool, so there's no need to swap multiple helmets. Make Mom happy and save a little cash by using the Watts Helmet for extreme debauchery year-round.

  • EPS polystyrene is a lightweight, hard foam—when hit, EPS evenly distributes energy throughout its internal structure to keep your head intact
  • Removable knit liner allows for year-round action sport use—leave it in to fight off the winter chill and take it out when the weather warms up
  • Connect the 8tracks Audio system to your music player and pump tunes directly to your brain

Bottom Line: Say waaaaatttt?

First off, I love this helmet. I got it in matte black and the audio is extremely clear and what makes it even better is there is a volume control so you don't have to reach into your pocket whenever someone starts to talk to you. I actually was very happy to have it on my first day out, I hit it so hard on a rail I thought I broke it..but no sign of anything, props. The low profile is nice and my EG2's fit perfectly but if I had to complain about something, which is not a big deal is the goggles wont stay on the helmet when there not on unless you put them on the brim which messes up the foam on the gogs

Comfortable Lid With Clear Audio

By:
January 20, 2012

Got the matte black helmet and would highly recommend. The lid is super comfortable and warm on days when it's cold. Audio quality is really clear and beats having to worry about earphones popping out while your riding. Had quite a few compliments about the look of the helmet too, so don't worry about looking bad on the slopes.

Had a few falls where a busted my noggin' and had zero issues and helmet absorbed impact superbly.
If you're on the fence about whether the audio liner is worth the money I would say go for it. If you're someone who likes to listen to your jams while your riding then it's a great purchase.

Finally!

I was anti helmets for a long time cause of the fit, comfort and bulkiness (even though should be wearing one). With this one I have to say I am 110% stoked. Fits great, light, feels like it was made for my noggin. Also the audio is real good compared to others I have tried.
