Beyond Coastal is a signee of the EWG's Compact for Safe Cosmetics, confirming their commitment to adhere to EU and EWG standards for healthy and environmentally friendly sunscreens and lip balms. The Whole Foods Premium Body Care Quality Standard was used extensively in formulating Beyond Coastal sunscreens and lip balm. Beyond Coastal's Natural and Kids formulas meet the standard as do all the inactive ingredients in the Active formulas
