runs small

This jacket looks great in the picture, but not so great on. It's junior's sizing, so you have to go up at least one size. Even after sizing up, I could barely zip this over my chest and it made me look like an old nanny up top. If you have a flat chested, athletic build this jacket would look great, but it was definitely not made for girls with boobs.

Too small up top, good for sticks

I am not a big person - 5'8" and 128 lbs. Small bust. This jacket is so cute and good in many ways, I wanted it to work. The length is great, down over hips for warmth and style. the problem is, as I saw when I found this on another site, it's tailored for juniors rather than anyone with shape. Thus, the cut in the top is really slim - no room for any chest, and tight across the shoulders and upper arms in size Medium, wearing just a t-shirt. I've never had that happen on me before - most tops have way too much upstairs for my build. The way the chest pockets are placed, it doesn't flatter the figure - a little too high to add to the hourglass figure, just looks lumpy and odd. I don't get it. I am so determined to make it work, that I'm going to exchange for a large and see if that works. If I get around to updating this, I'll let you know how it went. Already, I'm sure the arms will be way too long - I have long arms and this size medium is already a long sleeve covering the top of my hand, just the way I like it. Size large will probably be knuckles dragging, but we'll just see!
