This backpack fits my widescreen 15 inch laptop and keeps it nice and safe while I lug it around campus. It also has plenty of room for my books and what not. And although the straps are designed for a skateboard, if you arent going far the top strap is strong enough to hold your snowboard right under the binding.

I have an old school Dell about 12" screen and it fits easy. It can probably fit up to a 14" screen. Also, when I take a quick trip and don't take my laptop, this compartment also serves as a nice travel clothing stash for a overnite trip

I have owned this style for about a year and I am more impressed now than when I bought it. One of the best features and I just realized it, is the suspension shockproof laptop compartment. My kid dropped my pack getting out of the truck and I was a little (very) concerned that my new laptop was cooked. When I opened it up I realized the lower part of the compartment has a suspension system so the laptop nevere hit the ground despite the crash...love it. Other than that...this pack rules...more than enough compartments for all electronic devices and for all my catalogs & files...I highly recommend this style. Plus for those in need the stowaway skate straps are cool too
