The Billabong Stripe Platinum X Short has earned its stripes (so to speak) amongst some of the most discerning surfers out there from the North Shore to Huntington Beach to Indo. Boasting 20% stretch for unprecedented freedom of movement and lightweight ZG Infinity Stretch material, this short thinks you should be breaking off proper airs all over the place.

Looks like I am wearing cut off slacks
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
My friends make fun of me when I wear my water slacks, so I don't wear them anymore.
Do these shorts actually have 20% stretchy...
Do these shorts actually have 20% stretchy spandex it them? I would like to know the exact materials used please. I bought Billabong Hydro Platinum X and Billabong LOC Platinum X shorts this month from backcountry, and neither of those have any stretch material in them. They are 100% polyester, eventhough the Hydro shorts are advertised as having Hydro Stretch and a review for the LOC shorts say they are "stretchy".
Thanks so much for the help!
You can always use the chat now feature to ask the gear expert to have someone look at the tag, but the info the put in the item description usually comes straight from the tag (and manufacturer) I believe.
