There’s no reason to suffer through a day of being soaked below the waist. Especially since designers at Bond just had a heart to heart with their penguin consultants and came up with the environmentally friendly and waterproof Men’s Compound Pant. The shell of these pants is made from recycled materials that can be reused again and again so you can sleep a little better at night. Fully taped seams lock down the 20k waterproof rating and if you start to feel the effects of global warming in your pants just open up the T’aint getting hot vents to cool back down.

Ass seam split in 09/10 pair
For a 250 buck pair of pants (actually 360 ticket price here in Canada) I'm less than impressed..
Also, the material is pretty cut un-resistant.. shredded mine in a bunch of places around the cuffs on one 4 day b/c splitboarding trip.. Material gets dirty easily too and doesn't clean up so good..
The lining is also really 'grabby' and doesn't slide smoothly over other layers so can feel restricting..
Yeah, they're really waterproof, etc, etc but given the faults above - FAIL.
I'm 6'2 w/ a 32 waist and ordered an XL. What came had about a 31 waist and were barely 31 inches long. I can only assume that it was mislabeled cause these had to be an Medium, maybe a Large if Bond runs small. I had tried a Large on at a local snowboard shop and I'm pretty sure that the one I got sent to me was a Medium.
And the return cost $7 for Bond's mistake!!
I would do an exchange thinking it was mislabeled if I didn't think it was gonna cost me another $7 to return it.
They looked like sweet pants though, if you can snag your size, ride'em.
Hey. I bought these pants around the start of July 2010. I live in Australia, so I had to go by the measurements on the site. The measurements were not good. I am a size 32" waist and the sizing is totally out (using a small on advice from the dogfunk dude). I needed to send the pants back and missed out using them on my snow trip. I got the medium in the end (on advice from another dogfunk employee). The medium pants are good, but overall, the fit is relatively tight, especially around the rear end region.
In terms of quality, whilst I haven't used them, they are really good. The seems appear strong and the fabric is also strong. I would recommend them, but check on sizing first and only get them if you're looking for a more medium fit pant (no baggy)
Pretty good for a shell
I love these pants. They are incredibly waterproof and stay dry. The only problems I have with these pants is that they don't keep your ass warm enough from sitting down, and the heels and ankles get torn up real easy. Good pants, but invest in some warm layering.
I rode these pants last year with bonds national jacket. These pants are amazing! I rode them over 100 days last year and they stayed waterproof, and best of all, the bottoms didn't rip or fray out. Get these pants!
