Bond Villefranche Jacket - Women's - 2009

Bond, a new super-hip and super-green outerwear brand, turns more than a few heads with its Women’s Villefranche Jacket. This good-looker boasts tough (washable!) waterproofing and style details that only folks who spend a lot of time in the snow would think up. The jacket’s Lycra “hand panties” keep the sleeves from riding up and letting snow in, a powder skirt saves your booty from the freeze, and a collar “snow dam” keeps your neck dry. Tactical Insulation around your core offers tons of warmth without bulk, and a Coconut fiber wicking liner inside the jacket keeps you dry. Perhaps best of all, Bond made the vast majority of the jacket with recycled materials--right down to the buttons and zip pulls.

Bottom Line: Experience your favorite white stuff in green mode.

so cute, but the seam kept coming apart. i ride hard, but this is definitely a manufacturer problem. it's unfortunate because i loved the look of the jacket.

But it wouldn't look as good with my snowboard. Plus, I wanted something closer to a shell. This is kind of thick. Seems super warm. I wanted something I could wear when it's warm, this won't work for that.
It's really flattering and cute though! The color is really cool and I liked all the extras. Just wanted something with less fuss.

That is a very tough question. This jacket has 80g recycled poly insulation, so it will be warmer than a normal shell. If it is super, super cold outside (-25f) I'd really bundle up under this jacket. If it is a moderate day, you could just wear a first layer piece and be just fine.

Well it depends on where you live. Our distribution center is in Salt Lake City, Utah, so the closer you are the faster it gets to you. Orders usually ship within a day or so, and then i'd say you usually get your package between 5-10 days for regular ground shipping. Next Day and 2nd Day Air are also available if you need it faster.
