Like wearing a toaster oven with vents.
Snowboarding can be cold. It's a proven fact. You, on the other hand, don't have to be. The waterproof breathable Bonfire Women's Astro Down Jacket turns the nastiest, bitter-cold, red-knuckle, runny-nose freeze-fest into just another bluebird all-day shredathon. The fine-tune hood adjusts for snug warmth and mesh-backed underam zip vents mean you can get your temperature exactly where you like it and keep it there. Hook-and-loop cuff adjustments and a powder skirt make sure snow can't sneak in, and the asymmetrical front zip keeps the zipper from chafing your chin while you ride.

This jacket is perfect. The down is not too puffy and very flexible. The inside is a really soft flannel lining that is extremely cozy. The jacket has snaps around the powder skirt that snap into any pair of Bonfire snowboard pants to keep out the elements. The draw string cord that cinches the waist is hidden inside the two side pockets. The hood actually fits over my helmet! But, the best thing about this jacket is the front pocket. It has a hidden front pocket under the velcro closures that allows you to access the inside of your jacket without unzipping! Genius! Also, it has great waterproofing and I have yet to ride with a wet lining, which is saying a lot since I ride at Mt. Hood! As far as sizing, I'm 5' 5" tall and 120 lbs, and I ordered a size small jacket and it fits perfectly. The arms are nice and long so they stay over your gloves. Overall, great jacket and I would highly recommend it.
