Burton set out to create the Gore-Tex 2L Highland Pant, it wanted to make a pant that can take a harsh beating and be ready for more. To accomplish this, Burton used a heavy-duty oxford fabric to resist tears from sticks, rocks, concrete, and cougars, and paired it with waterproof breathable Gore-Tex to make the Highland tech enough to shrug off nature's harshest winter storms.
- 2-layer Gore-Tex shell fends off snow and rain, but allows water vapor you're generating ripping turns to escape so you don't sog out
- Gore seam tape throughout makes sure moisture doesn't stand a chance of getting through to your pants
- Satin lining gives you sumptuous against-the-skin feel but it still wicks and breathes, too
- Not-too-baggy fit keeps you feeling loose and comfy
- Inner-thigh vents prevent the goods from suffocating down there
- Cordura-reinforced Anti-Scuff cuffs keep your pants looking fresh all season
- Leg Lifts keep your cuffs safe from gravely parking lots and gnarly men's room floors
- Jacket-to-pant interface hooks up to your Burton jacket for all the protection of a one-piece (without, you know, having to wear a one-piece)

These pants are well worth the investment. A heavy duty pant that feels as light weight as some Spring pants. Gore-Tex is where is at!!! They handle deep pow like its nothing and you stay cool (thanks to Testi-Cool tech) on bluebird days up on the mountain. I ride more all mountain natural terrain than park and these very well suited for my type of riding. Mt. Hood has great year round boarding so they are perfect any time of the year. You can't see my pants in the photo i supplied but they're protecting me very well under all the POW I'm shreddin' through!!!

Love these pants! Size XL is baggie but not too much. These are basically carhartt meets Freeride. super water proof and super warm thick materials.
