Great performance and so cute!

This is a great shell. It looks good, keeps me dry and warm with a base and mid layer on relatively cold days. I enjoy the season pass pocket in the left arm and the extra inner pocket for my extra things. Has snaps to go around belt loops and a removable powder skirt. It'll even come in handy in the spring rains.

Does this jacket have snaps to go around...

This jacket actually has a zipper that will allow you to attach the jacket to any burton pant from 2010 or 2009 (those are all on sale).

3L is Fun

20k waterproofing. 10000g breathable rating. Fully taped seams. Great silhouette and to die for cute print. What else could a girl want.

Great Shell but not worth the $349

I got this jacket about a month ago and was wondering if it would be worth the money. It looks great and delivers on its brand promise of wind resistence. It's very well made. However, there is absolutley no insulation. I have to wear 3 different layers under the jacket just to stay warm here riding in Colorado. It will be great in the spring though and I will use it as a rain coat in the summer. Wait for this jacket to go on sale.

Kate- not to call you ignorant but the point of a 3L jacket is NOT to keep you warm. Its to keep you dry. You are supposed to use technical layers under it. These jackets are developed for more seasoned riders. Ive had 4 AK 3L jackets and they are top of the line. I wouldn't be swayed from buying this jacket based on your review as it is an uneducated bias about the technology.
