Burton After School Special Snowboard Package - Kids' - 2010
Everybody's bundling these days. Insurance companies, cable companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc, etc... Well, now Burton bundles, too. The Kids' After School Special Snowboard Package has everything your tyke needs to head out and schralp the gnarcore all season. The snowboard, boots and bindings aren't just small versions of adult equipment. They are all specially designed from the ground up to accommodate even the lightest riders. The After School Special even includes a travel bag that makes hauling gear to the mountain a snap.
Bottom Line: Turn that thing off, go outside, and play.
My grandson wants to learn to snowboard. He weighs 70 pounds and has a European shoe size 37/ American shoe size men 3 1/2. What type of board, binding and boots does he require? He needs to get new shoes every 6 month. Please let me know.
I bought this for my 3 y/o son last Christmas and I am so glad I did!
The package comes with A LOT of stickers and it was fun to sit down with him and let him put the stickers on his board. Adds to the crazy collage, and made him even prouder of owning his own snowboard.
The boots are easy to put on, and the bindings even easier. He picked up ratcheting down his bindings and taking them off quicker than I thought. The one buckle makes it super easy!
And the board is a perfect ride for him! It has edges sharp enough to hold a turn, but easy enough to handle, and it's base is perfect and lets him glide with little effort on the flat spots.
He was up and riding on his own by the end of the season! I don't think I could be prouder!!
Dogfunk.com knows that no one wants the used-car-salesman experience, so we decided to show you the other guys prices in an effort to keep your shopping experience as informed as possible. We do our best to confirm this information is correct, but assume no responsibility for the accuracy of the price and shipping information provided by other vendors.
check out the Burton Feelgood Smalls V-Rocker. It should work out well! if you check the board out, there is a link to the above size chart (but it will be easier to read...I couldn't get it to format properly).
~ I really wanna buy these for my 2 son's ( twins ) they are 3 1/2 yrs old 35 pounds.... how do I know what size to get them && how many winters would they be able to use them for??
The size options are by foot size. It starts at 11C and goes up to 3. Each boot will actually fit two shoe sizes, so the 11C is a 11C then by removing a layer of the footbed it becomes a 12C. Go by their shoe size to get the correct size. 2 years minimum.
I'm considering buying this for my son, he's almost two years old. My concern is the size of the boots, since the smallest 11C seems to be too big. Have anybody some experience with this product and especially the boots? I'm afraid they'll just fall of when he's gonna fall.
hey thomas, i c ur concern but boot sizes usuallly runn small for example i have a pair of burton boots and there 9.5s and for shoes i wear size 8s(i have small feet) and i could prolly go up to a 10. soo i beleive ur son should be fine with the 11c boots
As long as your kid fits it. My daughter is 2 and 1/2. I bought the 11C for her. It is big for her know, but she will be able to use it this year and next and maybe the year after. The boots will 11C will fit up to a 12C, each boot fits 2 sizes, and the bindings will fit up to a 1 boot. This will last at least 2 years.
