Description

Everything you need to stay dry and comfortable (from the waist up) in the backcountry.

The backcountry is as dangerous and unpredictable as it is rewarding, and the Burton Women’s AK 2L Embark Jacket handles the elements so you can stay fully focused on your ride. The Embark is not only intelligently insulated with zonal Primaloft synthetic fill, but it's also built with windproof, rainproof, snowproof, and highly breathable Gore-Tex 2L construction to survive in the harshest backcountry zones.

The Embark jacket provides complete weather protection. The guaranteed waterproof breathable Gore-Tex 2-Layer membrane will stand up to any precipitation that nature throws at you. (Take cover if softball-sized hail starts falling.) Zonal Primaloft keeps you warm while eliminating unnecessary weight and bulk. The fixed hood is fully adjustable and helmet-compatible. The stretch waist gaiter can be removed on hardpack days and includes an interface that allows you to attach the jacket to compatible Burton pants, and zippered underarm vents allow you to dump heat quickly so you don't burn up during your hike. For the final touch, Burton included a plethora of item-specific pockets to keep your essentials close at hand and keep you organized while you tour.

  • Gore-Tex 2L membrane
  • Primaloft synthetic insulation
  • AK fit (performance-oriented, articulated)
  • Zippered underarm vents
  • Removable stretch powder skirt with jacket interface
  • Fixed adjustable hood
  • Sound pocket, goggle pocket, flash pass pocket, ATM pocket, interior stash pocket
