for me AK is totally the right thing. If you ride pow and don't want to get wet this is the right choice.

Have the classic fit that Burton has used for years, I personally love it. The Gore-tex keeps you super dry no matter what your doing (If you take a shower that's your choice). There's enough pockets to get the job done, but not so many you feel bad not using um. Wish it had hand gaiters but it's not a must have.
Comparison: 6'1 160lbs---->XL is a loose fit but not ridiculous.

Truly a great coat. Fits loose, but not gangsta baggy. I'm 6'2 200lbs and the xl is roomy, but perfect with a fleece underneath...
Lots of pockets for all your gear(also has ipod pocket/cord holder) and a great venting system with pit zips as well as front vents that circulate air to cool off quickly..
Truly a great jacket..

Definitely love the jacket. It is light yet warm. Kept me dry in the wet stuff and looks great. Stoked about how it zips into my AK pants to really keep the snow out!

Jacket is Gore-Tex a shell, I would order 1 size up because you will probably have layer up. I bought the Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man fleece to go underneath, it works great. Jacket really stands up to the elements. Zippers are heavy duty. Overall a great jacket.
