For all-mountain staggering
Trips to the mountains can get messy. With Gore-Tex Performance Shell material, the Burton Men's AK 2L Stagger Pant have your back. These shell pants feature fleece at the seat and knees and are guaranteed to keep you dry, so if you wake up in a snowbank with a beer in your hand, at least you know your lower half won’t be frozen solid. When you stagger to the mountain the next day, the Burton AQUAzip water-resistant zippers and Gore-Seam Tape lock out the snow even more, while the Crossflow Venting keeps you cool as you hike to those fresh stashes. Because nothing cures hangovers like fresh powder. - Fall 2008.

Will these pants keep you warm enough..?...
Will these pants keep you warm enough..? Also If i'm 6'1 180lbs do you think the XL will be to big on me?
Whatup Rastamez, these pants are a very thin material with no insulation. It's Goretex, so it will keep you totally dry, but not very warm. If you rock some long underwear you'll be fine.
For sizing, these pants are baggy for sure. If you want them to fit normally then they will be too big. If you don't mind some bagginess, the XL will be good.
They are not insulated, but they are Gore-Tex performance shell. What that basically means you will stay super dry and be blocked by all the wind in the world.
As long as you throw thermals on you will stay warm for days!!!
Love these pants. Picked up the black ones last year. Great fit, keeps you dry and tons of pockets. I have the matching AK 2L jacket and can even zip them together if there is a lot of powder out there.
These pants not only make the people you ride with be able to spot you at all times, but they also are comfortable and very waterproof. Gore-tex is the bomb and im never going to buy anything less from now on.
Best Pants I've owned
No complaints at all, paid only 130 for old colors, my shorts stay dry when all my buddys are soaked, super light too with lots of movement for max twist. Worth every penny.

do burton pants zip in with volcom and other jackets?
Nope, for the most part, all brands have their own linking system. If you want to kit it out to work seamlessly together, choose a Burton Jacket to go with the pants.
what color is resin jacquard? better yet,...
what color is resin jacquard? better yet, what is jacquard?
What up mayne.. The Resin color is like a really dark green. Not really "sweatpants" green, more of a midnight green. The Resin colorway also has lime green accent colors which looks freeeeesh. Super sick colorway.
Jacquard means that there is texture or pattern in the fabric. On these pants, the material has some texture so it's not just boring polyester feel. Hope that breaks it down for you. Peace.
typical burton quality.
I got maybe 20 days out of these before the fabric wore out and the pocket fell off. since that's where the waterproofing is they were dead after that. fabric was pretty worn out in other places too. Not even close to worth the price. I'll give them 3 stars for breathability though, they are nice to hike in, got not daily resort riding.
Burton AK 2L Stagger
Pros: Best looking pants I own. XL fits super baggy. Gore-tex is 100% waterproof and almost 10% windproof. Pants are very breathable.
Cons: Very thin material rips easily, especially against ski edges, walking and letting the pants drag, and if you fall on a rail.
These are some of my favorite pants. They have tons of vents. Tons of pockets. Very baggy fit. Neon colors. Awesome price. Goretex! Get some!
for me AK is totally the right thing. If you ride pow and don't want to get wet this is the right choice.
Baggy as i like..all the fancy little things..wents.great pockets...u can zip your jacket to this pants..
are these the pants jeremy jones wears??
are these the pants jeremy jones wears??
Jeremy has been heavily involved with the development of the AK line in the past years - he's brought some style to the most tech product, which is sick. He wears several different AK outerwear pieces, including these.
Burton Ak 2l Stagger
These pants are the best pants I have ever owned. Ski edges/rails will cut them up pretty easily, but other than that they are perfect. Super baggy. Windproof. Waterproof. Breathable. Easy to unzip vents. Sick color. You can't go wrong with these pants.
These pants rock. They run big though. I bought a large, but exchanged them for a Medium. If in between sizes, get the smaller size.
No complaints. Rain and/or snow, these pants kept me dry and toasty all season long. gotta love GORE TEX! Microfleece lining around the butt and knees is a huge plus! I'm 5'10" 175 lbs who usually wears a size 32 in pants and the smalls fit perfectly in the waist (w/room to sag if I wanted too) and the length. If you're goin for a baggier look feel free to size up if you want b/c they come w/velcro waist adjusters so you don't need to rock a belt. Bottom Line: Buy these pants, you won't regret it!

AK TOP GEAR

I'm looking for a pair of burton snowboard pants with some insulation, since I hate to wear long johns, I would prefer gore-tex material, would you recommend these or anything else?
well these have no insulation, and i actually cant find any burton pants that are gore tex and insulated
nice pants- Burton AK 2L Stagger DPM Camo
Breathable, tons of pockets and the jacket pant interface rules!! Internal waist adjustment is great to have so you don't necessarily need a belt. Tough enough to slash the trees and steezy enough to rock the park.
Do these have some sort of protection on...
Do these have some sort of protection on the inside of the ankle so if you ski once in a while they wont get thrashed.
Not really, more of a snowboard specific shell pant with no edge protection and a wide lower leg.
