You found your wallet in your jacket, but you’re still looking for your dignity.

Jump into your AK 2L Stagger Pants from Burton, and hit the mountain no matter how bad the weather gets. Gore-Tex protection from shell to seams keeps you dry and feeling good. The only way you’re getting wet in these is if you piss yourself like you did that night at the bar when you lost your wallet.

  • Gore-Tex Performance Shell helps your lower bits stay dry so you can play all day without having to hit the lodge bathroom to point the hand-dryer down your pants
  • Crossflow venting pulls in cool air and pushes out hot funky air so you stay funk-free
  • Fleece lining on the butt and your knees gives you extra comfort and warmth at your main contact points
  • Fully taped seams with Gore-Seam tape stop water from conniving its way through the stitching

Burton ak rules!! been sporting it for a few years now... I have hover pants stagger pants and jacket.. I couldnt ask for much more... my favorite pants I accidentally ruined so I ordered these I tried them on expecticting them to be super baggy since I ordered a mens XXL normally I get XL and those are baggy on me.but the ass and crotch were so tight and umcomfortable I sent them back:'( Burton changed the cut completely ...no good

Smurf wasabi true black

I love em good pants a little short on length over all top of the line performance pants can't go wrong with any ak gear I rode in the rain "heavy rain" stay dri all the way !! An another thing I like is even tho the pants seem really wet, you stay dri an the outside of the pants dri so fast. Totally recommend an with the shorter length it hasn't taken anything away on tricks "so get'em" !!

Solid Snowboard Pants

I've gotta give these pants a pretty good rap, though they're not perfect. I've had mine now for almost 3 years. This year alone they've done 29 days snowboarding which included a fair bit of backcountry workouts, tree runs getting snagged on branches etc. I am pretty hard on my gear and it's only now these are starting to wear. They have a lifetime warranty and I am happy to say that even though the seams on the bum started to come apart, burton replaced them with a new pair (unfortunately in the ugly neon camo getup). I have had issues with warranties with burton in the past, but with these even though they had some wear burton were pretty good. I expect this if i am paying over 300 clams for a pair of pants though.

In terms of setup, I would say they are verging on the baggy side (but not overly so), they have 6 pockets, 2 back (why bother?), 2 hand (light fleece lined, 1 has a key clip - quite useful) and 2 thigh (good for a beanie). The butt and knees are also fleece lined, but I wouldn't say "padded" (fine with me). They have a clip on the bottom of the leg for holding the outside liner up for walking thru a muddy carpark, but could do with 2 as they only hold 1 side up. They have 2 sets of vents, 1 pair on the inner thighs and 1 on the upper hips (the upper hip ones could be slightly longer). There is a useful velcro waist adjustment on the inner side of the belt. The boot liners hook nicely onto your bootlaces.

The goretex seems to be pretty good, i've never got wet.

They zip and clip into the powder skirt on burton jackets.

I can't agree with the other review about being "tight in the crotchal area" unless they have changed the cut or my package is very small (!) or you get the wrong size.

Kinda let down

I can only imagine these are great pants, but there needs to be a little more info as to how they fit. they are a little tight in the crotchal region and through the whole leg. Just a heads up if you prefer a looser pant, don't go with these. i had to return them and hopefully the Grill pant will work out better.

cool pants

Pants seem durable. The side pocket is nicely placed for getting into while sitting on the lifts. 6' 155lbs large pants seem ok with fleece pants underneath. wish they were a touch longer, but i'm alright with them.

Dirty pants

Great pair of pants. Totally waterproof and super comfy. I'm 6'0 170 and the Large fits perfectly. The only thing I would suggest is wear something warm underneath because these pants are a shell and not built for extremem warmth. I have underarmour 3.0's and I haven't been cold once. www.shreducated.com

Blow dry your chassis- total weatherproof performance meets high output ventilation. Fleece butt and knee are you kidding me best thing ever. Also love the Testi-cool full venting from knee to knee so great for hiking. This pant also has an articulated knee to move with your body's natural movement. Great when you are out hiking to have a pant move with you and not bunch up.
