Burton built the AK 2L Turbine Jacket for riders who attack the mountain in the gnarliest conditions possible. A Gore-Tex Performance Shell blocks absolutely all moisture, and Primaloft insulation holds in heaps of warmth when the mercury drops into blueball zone. Fully taped seams and waterproof zippers enhance the already kick-ass water proofness, and a waist gaiter acts like the Great Wall of China against would-be snowy invaders. Burton gave the Turbine its Sig fit, meaning it hangs a little long, a little baggy. - Fall 2008.

such a nice jacket, barely even need to layer under it. so nice for powder, and the freezing days at crested butte
