Ultimate coverage meets ultimate weather-proofing.
We have a policy on those epic days when it's three feet deep and dumping: If you're not falling, you're not trying hard enough. Thanks to the coverage and guaranteed Gore-Tex waterproofing of the Burton AK Freebird Bib Pant, tumbling through waist-deep fluff has never been more fun. A lightweight three-layer shell construction and articulated fit offer protection from the foulest weather imaginable while still giving you plenty of mobility for hiking, skinning, and shredding.
Three-layer Gore-Tex fabric is super-tough, yet incredibly lightweight to resist rips and tears, and it's guaranteed waterproof and breathable for ultimate protection from the elements. Fully taped seams with Gore seam tape prevent moisture from seeping in through the cracks. The AK fit features engineered articulation to allow for total freedom of movement and it allows room to layer underneath without being baggy or bulky.
Zippered inseam vents dump heat when you're huffing it to the peak, and bib styling with adjustable suspenders ensures you don't get any snow down your pants when you tomahawk through powder. Microfleece lining at the fly and waistband keeps you comfy throughout the day. Boot gaiters with cuff-to-boot interface keep your feet dry and ghetto slits make your pant legs sit just right on your boots.

Pow all day!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are great and completely waterproof, but we will see how that holds up after a couple of seasons. I crushed my shins trying to grind a fallen tree in the woods, I was bleeding, but my pants saw no cuts! My only real complaint is that can't get these in a tall version, and at 6'4 with an XL, I still need about an inch or two more length on the suspenders. Plenty of room to layer, but did just fine in some UA base layer only underneath on a 10F high and windy day.
This Gore-Tex is sick
