Burton thought of everything warm and dry, and put it all together in this top-end glove.
The Burton Women's AK Guide Glove is Burton's most serious, severe-weather-worthy snowboarding glove for women. It combines Dryride Durashell outer fabric with a waterproof breathable Gore-Tex insert to keep the wearer absolutely 100% dry. High-loft PrimaLoft insulation is rated down to the chilliest temps, and Rodeo AK leather palms boost durability through seasons of contact with your board's edges. Another handy feature: the glove features a dual-chamber fleece liner that lets you slip your hand into the main warm compartment for maximum warmth while riding or slip your hand into the outer sleeve for maximum dexterity. It's just the right solution for messing with your straps, bindings, or jacket zippers without leaving your gloves off.

Two Compartments are weird
I'm a big fan of AK and the description on this glove sounded good - so I thought I would give it a go. As promised, the AK performance (waterproof/breathability) will not let you down. But the dual chamber fleece liner is kind of weird. I had high hopes for it - but I wouldn't describe the outer sleeve as offering any more dexterity than you would have otherwise. I dont think that is is "dexterous" enough to mess with jacket zippers... That said, the warmer compartment, is quite warm.
The glove cuff is very low profile and goes under jacket sleeves easily which is nice.
