More than expected

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great fitting glove, super soft, and warm. Mine came with a niki-wax leather waterproofer that works great. I wore them 4 times in the Austrian Alps with no problems. If you want to wear liners order a size bigger as they are thin and cozy fitting. I wear mine without and have had no issues but have naturally clammy hands. If I could change one thing I would make the cuff extend a little longer. Other than that the glove is perfect.

Great Glove

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great dexterity, very comfortable, durable and pretty warm. They're a pretty thin glove, so obviously not for single digits, but they have a comfy thin fleece lining and i used them with some thin burton glove liners and was warm down to about 15 F. I had my hands in the snow a lot and they never got wet using the provided waterproofing wax.

I haven't done any real backcountry since getting then, but some sidecountry hiking, and I would say they would well in that situation. For me, unless it's really cold (single digits) my hands usually only get cold on the lift and generally when I'm not moving (my hands get pretty sweaty hiking in thicker gloves) so these are great when you need the dexterity in BC for switching from ascent to decent but it's cold enough that you don't want to take your gloves off.

For those complaining about the grayeen color, it's your fault for buying something labeled as grayeen in the first place.

This glove in colorway "Grayeen" is not quite as it appears in the photo. It is not the tan/beige that you see here, but more of a grey/green... Hence the name.

NOT for the backcountry unless its spring......

these fit great, look great and work great..... unless its under 10. i have used these for about a month straight (5+ days a week on the mountain) and they have been great for resort riding in 10 to 45 degree weather BUT they get really warm if its over 35 and they are nowhere NEAR the protection needed for backcountry or anything under the 10/15 mark. on the plus side i almost never have to take them off because how articulated and thin they are... i would call them a bit of a glorified leather pipe glove.... and they look like that to. i am a girl and have pretty normal sized hands and i got the medium and they fit great. great buy for someone who won't have their hands in the snow a lot or is a skier.

Color doesn't look like the picture

I ordered these because I thought they were white or and least an off white. That is what i looks like on my screen. They are a lot darker than what it appears. It is a green / gray color, which i guess is not a surprise considering they are called Grayeen.

will these get ripped up by the toe rope

Bomber strength leather glove

Low profile and warm. Like the fleece line. Burton's Pistol grip is hands down the best. The glove comes pre-curved to give and articulated fit. I never have to worry about having a buchey glove that enables such simple things like unzipping my jacket.

Burton AK - Leather Tech Glove

This is the second pair of AK gloves I bought and I have not been disappointed. Extremely comfortable and keep you warm in below freezing temps and don't fall apart easily unlike some other gloves I have purchased in the past. I use to go through 2-3 pairs a season and now just sticking with one.
