Turn any glove into a weather-proof piece of hand armor with the Burton AK Powder Mitt. The Powder mitt is unlined, so you just slide your glove—whether it's a spring glove, a pipe glove, or a full-on insulated winter glove—into the Powder mitt and you have a tough, two-layer hand protector.
The AK Powder mitt is designed with a separate trigger finger, so you can use your hands just like you're wearing regular gloves. The finger is also touchscreen-compatible, allowing you to operate your phone or MP3 player without taking the mitts off. The mitt feels comfortable and natural because Burton designed it with a pre-curved, articulated fit.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Straight up, probably the best glove/mitt purchase I've made in 20 years of snowboarding.
I team them up with whatever glove satisfies the warmth requirements of the day (my Burton AK Tech Gloves, for example), but most days all I need is my nice thin Burton Windstopper Gloves underneath these mitt shells. I've never felt as warm/dry as with this combination. It's also great that the Mitts are so lightweight you can easily fold them up and stash them into a pocket.
Mountain guides and backcountry professions understand the importance of dry and functional mitts. The powder mitt has the new Screen Grab Toughgrip Palm for total touchscreen control. While the trigger finger design will give a little more freedom to your fingers when needed. Where alone as a shell or layer for a perfect over mitt.
