When record low temperatures tag along with record snowfall totals, brave the cold in the Burton Women's AK Baker Insulator Down Jacket so you can reap the freshies while others retreat to the lodge.
650-fill down insulation is extremely warm, yet lightweight and packable so that the Baker fits comfortably underneath your shell without limiting mobility. It also features a DryRide Thermex Buttery Soft Heathered fabric that not only has a super-soft feel for comfort, but is also water-resistant to repel light snow so you can rock it as an outer layer on frigid nights in the city. The AK fit is articulated for freedom of movement and is slim enough to fit under your shell, yet still has enough room to layer underneath.

Perfect and less puffy that it looks .
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is very warm. I frequently wear it with a tank top here in frigid Utah and it still keeps me warm. I've worn it on the slopes and it's been just perfect. It is not bulky at all. It's very thin and light and fits well under a shell for freezing days. It's so comfy and un-restrictive that I'm having a hard time taking it off, ever.
Does the hood have a drawstring to keep...
Does the hood have a drawstring to keep it from falling off if you're not wearing a helmet?
The Burton AK Baker Insulator Down Jacket does have a hood cinch.
Besides the hand pockets does this jacket...
Besides the hand pockets does this jacket have any internal storage??
Hey there, thanks for your question. This jacket doesn't have an internal pocket, sorry for the bad news!
It does have a clear, ski pass slot that you could also put cards and cash in.
