is this a good all around park.

Yeah. I see kids on this and the older versions in the park all the time. If you're not dead set on a burton though, capita makes some nice park boards too for around the same price. I like burton and capita park boards equally.

This board is legit. Really fun in the park.

I weight 190 pounds and am 6'1 the largest blunt board they sell is a 158 for the 2010. will the 158 work for me?

Responded on

It will be fine if you plan to stay on groomed runs. You should get a tad bit bigger of a board for the steep and deep.

Responded on

Totally. I hate riding long boards. I'm 6' 200lbs and ride a 156 and a 158.

sweet ride

i rode this board all season (20 on mountain days). it is my first board and a lincoln in comparison to a rental. So things i like about the board are that it holds an edge pretty well, comes in wide, and has features like cruise control and v rocker that have helped me progress my riding. It's unrealistic to say "oh you''ll never catch an edge" on any board. But in comparison to other boards i have ridden or demoed I think that the features i describe above help to keep the contact points out of the snow so you have less incidental edge catches. and really for this reason i think that for a beginner a little rocker outside the bindings is helpful and makes turning a little easier. I like the graphics and plan to keep the board for a couple of seasons as my riding progresses.

sick all around!

i have 2 days on my 158 and it makes me wanna ride more than ever. the vrocker is really cool because it makes it really soft and you never catch edges. really easy to ride. also handles pretty well at high speeds too. great in the park for everything! smooth as silk on 50 foot jumps. v rocker is great for pow too; you dont have to lean way back like on traditional boards so you dont get worn out so fast. i dont see myself buying a board in the future thats not vrocker. the bottom does scuff easily but its not like gouges are being taken out, just rewax if the rail/box scuffs bug you

2010 Burton Blunt

This board is sick. You wont have any problems hittin rails then heading up and carving the pow. The board never catches edges and is very forgiving. I have ridden this board well over 8 times this on all terrain. Handles well on ice, packed powder, fresh snow ect. Whatever you throw at the board it will handle it. The bottom does scratch easily and the board is not built to last. Took a spill in the trees and the top layer of the board is peeling up. Will most likely replace the board at the end of the season. But overall a very solid board for beginner-intermediate riders that are looking to hit the pow and park.

What this board was for me.

For me, this snowboard was the best thing that ever happened to me. I could do anything. I fell in love with this snowboard, andI rode it all the time. Every week, and almost every day and I found now flaws in performance. I mean this board really performed when it needed to. And then one day while I was at lost trail powder mountian, on the border of montana and idaho (the one on hw 93 N.) The one that I am always at. An unfortunate event happend in my life. My Snowboard Got Stolen From Me (while I was working). If you have something to say to me send me an email. tomwarhol@gmail.com

which should i get
this board or the 2010 burton bullet

Responded on

It depends... this is a narrower waist width and a lil' more direction... the bullet is easier to ride because of the little bit of tail taper.

- Go Bullet if you have a size 12 foot or larger and are just starting out

- Go blunt if you have ridden a bit and want to get more into park-style feature. jumps, jibs, etc.

should i get this board? or the 2010 burton twin? i ride the park mostly.

Responded on

Go with the twin. My homie had a blunt last season and it was brand new and he snapped the tail on a ok sized table. My other friend just got the twin and he loves it. He stays in the park as well and he stays throwin it down with his board.

Is this board better than the Forum manual or about the same?

They are very similar... Both are all-mountain freestyle and park style soft flexing boards!

Sweet ride

I've had this board for about two weeks now and so far it's been riding amazing both in the park and off. The v rocker makes it great for spinning on rails and boxes and with the cruise control you barely ever catch edge. the only down that i've had so far is that the bottom scratches really easy other than that its all around a great board and completely worth the money

Would this board be nice for a all mtn...

Posted on

Would this board be nice for a all mtn board. like i do alot of park riding but i also do some woods and that type of stuff. would this board work for me or no?

Responded on

Its definitely geared toward a park-style rider. But, personally speaking, I ride a park board everywhere. Trees and powder included. You'll be fine when getting into non-park stuff.

Its just built based off more of a park model... Due to its near-twin construction and softer flex.

Responded on

Heres the thing

its a twin it can still hit the pow pow
but as aja said it is more geared to park it can still do powder as fine as most all mountain board
so if you hit both then get it, but if you never do park then i wudnt get it

Sickass board

This board is so sick i got the 142 and i havent riding on it yet but just lookin at makes me wanna go
its super flex and amazing to have vrocker technology hook up with them cartels and its nicee haha

Responded on

blunts better than the twin bro. stick with the blunt.

Not Worth the Money

Why would you pay 400 bucks for the 10 when you could get the 09 for 220?
1. The graphics on the 09 or way more beast then the '10
2. It has the V'Rocker technology i dont really not much about it but if your such much intrested in park go get a real park board.
3. Other then .2 it same get! The 09 before it runs out

Responded on

obviously you dont know what your talking about. you wont find another board with v-rocker technology at this price. it has way more pop and it is nearly impossible to catch an edge. this board is sick. unless you wanna pay 600 or more you should deff. get this board for park riding

Responded on

you are all dumb as hell go get the forum youngblood chillydog burton is shitty quality and the youngblood rips the blunt in half in the park and all over the mountain you damn newbs!

y'all need to calm it and smoke a J
