Burton Board Sack - 09/10 - 2009

Protect your deck while following the snow. The Burton Board Sack holds one or two of your quiver while you follow the Rockies north sampling the terrain. Backpack straps make carrying your Board Sack up the stairs to the lodge a bit less awkward, and a front pocket keeps your wax and tools handy.

Bottom Line: From Taos to Whistler, your snowboard stays covered.

Hmmmm, that's the first time I've heard that one. What snowboard do you have so I can help guide you in the right direction? a K2 Fat Bob (sorry, just the widest board I could think of)?

You may have to just go up into the gig bag as its quite a bit roomier:

Holds everything you have and need for a two day riding trip. Fill this up with all your snowboard product and get to the hill for the weekend. Keep you stuff together and in one place.

not padded, but good

i just received mine last night. the flannel plaid looks very good and it has backpack straps for easier carrying. if you look in the Q&A section for this product, you'll see my question regarding it being able to withstand being thrown around by airport staff. the rep claimed it was padded, but rest assured there is no padding whatsoever, it's just a bag. i'm going to see how my board/bindings hold up after my flight this weekend, but i'm worried about my bindings/edges.

Should I get the larger/largest size bag so that I can fit more

Should I get the larger/largest size bag so that I can fit more stuff in there or will it cause an issue with the smaller sized board(s)?

yup, simple! Just buy it slightly longer so you can stagger the boards with bindings offset.

I got the 181 cm bag. I have a wide 167 cm board and it fits fine. Not super padded like some other bags.

from my experience you could probably fit up to about a 158 wide (they give you a little wiggle room in case you want to pad it up a bit more.
